The first thing Nakul saw when he woke up absolutely blew him away. Akabane still sleeping, breathing in through his slightly open mouth, lips still a bit swollen from the night before. His hair was a mess, cheeks puffed and the area below his eyes a bit dark. He still looked ethereal. His arms clung onto Nakul's torso, head snuggled into his chest and lean toned legs intertwined with his. Nakul smiled. He's so handsome. His eyes then fell on the hickeys. Plural. Nakul had gotten carried away and given Aki a hickey over every spot coloured on his pale neck. He felt like a painter with his beautiful canvas. They didn't go any further though, wary since Ayu was sleeping.

Nakul couldn't get up since Akabane was hanging on so tight, even the slightest movement could have woken him up. So Nakul relegated himself to just staring at the miracle of a human being in his arms, waiting for the honey eyes to appear. Luckily it was a weekend in the middle of summer. Soon enough Akabane started to stir and groan. Nakul smiled at him, enthralled as his eyes fluttered open, long dark lashes batting prettily. He brushed some hair off his forehead and spoke in his rough morning voice "Good morning angel."

"Hi." Aki groaned back and cleared his throat "My neck feels numb."

"Sorry." Nakul laughed slightly "You slept okay? Were my tiddies good pillows?"

Aki blushed and nodded, shyly hiding his face in Nakul's chest. He murmured in his almost whispery morning voice "You slept?"

"Slept fine." Nakul nuzzled his nose into Aki's hair, it smelled nice. Like cherry blossoms. He had nice shampoo "Any time now the human tornado is going to run in and force us up."

"What do you mean-" Aki started but the door was thrown open and Ayu yelled "SATURDAY!"

Ayu hopped onto the bed and waved at Aki "Hi Aki!"

Aki pulled up the blanket to cover his neck and collarbones "Good morning Ayu."

Nakul smiled as Ayu jumped onto him and hugged him "Dad wake up! You said we're going to the zoo today! Then picnic!"

"I'm up. I'm up champ." Nakul sat up and ruffled Ayu's messy hair "Go get ready. Wanna go out for waffles for breakfast?"

"YEAH!" Ayu cheered "Dad wear something good okay? Don't emba-rrass me." He said, pronouncing the word carefully.

"You got it champ. Go get ready and brush your teeth I'll know if you don't." Nakul warned.

Ayu grinned happily. Nakul smiled back at his baby. How cute can he get?! He's just so perfect and adorable and awesome! Ayu sprinted out, yelling "ZOO! ZOO! ZOO!"

Aki sat up and let the blanket fall, revealing the red and purple patches "He's a morning person."

"Only on holidays." Nakul said, "You have no idea how hard it is to get him out of bed on school days."

"I guess I'll just run over home." Aki yawned and thumped his legs "I'll see you whenever."

"Hey, you wanna come with us? To the zoo and then the picnic?" Nakul asked "We'll ask Ayu if he's okay with it. You free today?"

Aki thought for a second "I'm free so it's up to Ayu."

Nakul grinned and walked out of bed, went to the bathroom Ayu used "AYU!"

"WHAT DAD?" He yelled back.

"DO YOU WANT AKI TO COME ALONG?"

"TO THE ZOO?" Ayu asked.

"YEAH."

"DOES HE LIKE ANIMALS?" Ayu asked again.

Aki had walked with Nakul so he nodded "My favourites are dinosaurs but since those aren't around I'll settle for pumas."
