----Kylo POV----

Kylo was sat in his quarters, pouring over the books and paperwork they had found on the Corvette. He had spent the last couple of weeks training his apprentice, and searching Nova's mind with her. So far they had gleaned very little. He had been trying to keep her at a distance emotionally and physically. He felt a monster rearing in him, one that wanted to skin the Knights every time they put their hands on her. Every time they were too close to her. He couldn't allow that, a rift between them. So he pulled himself back, reigned himself in. The throne room played on his mind regularly, and he wanted it again, he wanted it more. But Nova's training, his Knights and maintaining order was more important.

Nova was in the Gym sparring with the Knights, training. It was time to take her for her lightsaber. It would just be the two of them on the trip to Lothal for her Kyber Crystal. The Knights would run things here on the New Supremacy in his and Nova's absence. She should have been taken months ago, but with everything going on, and her going missing, it had gone to the wayside. Now it was time to make it right. Having seen her on the Rebel base, Kylo knew she was going to do well, and having her own weapon would be a lot better than using Luke's or Leia's sabers.

The documents in Sith had yielding interesting information, and put Nova's true age as old, very old. She predated the Galactic Civil War as he had wondered. Born to the Brotherhood of Darkness, a child soldier from the time before the rule of two within the Sith Lords. Children born from Sith parents, trained from birth without mercy, without love but instead full of hate, their fear and their morality broken and bent to the Sith way. Nothing but pure training in the dark side. They had been put into the Carbonite at the ruling regarding only two. An army put into stasis for the day they may be needed to rise against the Jedi in a more overt way. No need in wasting good Sith trained assassins. The carbonite had been lost in space when the ship had crashed. Kylo wondered how many other ships were sent out. How many were out there in the unknown space and lost planets and planets not yet even discovered. How many Carbonite bodies were there, waiting, sleeping?

Kylo hadn't yet told Nova. He would tell her while they were away, he wasn't sure how she would take it. She was drawn to the dark side, but she was not entirely a dark soul. Like him she had slithers of light. He found himself living in that light more often around her. Maybe that was why he was so torn around her, maybe that was why he found himself wanting to be around her more. He didn't want to be Ben Solo again. He had become so much more as Kylo Ren. But perhaps there was a space between the Light and the Dark that he and Nova could exist. Maybe with her he could rule with a counsel at his side that he trusted. Maybe she could find who she truly was with him. Something deeper than lovers or friendship or partnership. Though increasingly he found himself wanting more with her. Craving her beneath him writhing in exquisite, agonising pleasure.

His quarter doors opened, and Trudgen entered, "Master?"

"Yes?"

"Nova is finished training for the day. She has asked if we can come here. I guess she's antsy to find out what you've found in those papers."

"We are going to be setting off the Lothal. I'll fill her in on the way."

"She's getting her lightsaber?"
