Author's Note: This is an update quicker than usual, but i had already done the research in the Lore, and I was honestly enjoying writing it too much. I hope you enjoy this story as much as I do. This chapter is 8000 words long, so it's a long one. Enjoy! Thank you for reading along!

Also there's a lot of changing POV in the chapter but I felt it was important to see it from different people's perspective.  - Lex

----Nova POV----

You awoke with a jolt in your quarters on the ship, and could hear Kylo smashing up the cockpit, the sound of crashing and the sounds of his lightsaber clear, as well as him yelling. You sighed, a Kylo tantrum was never a good thing, and clearly something had vexed him. It'd been a while since you'd heard or seen him have one of these. He'd taken recently to just being an emotional time bomb, up and down every five minutes. You got up, pulled on your trousers and tank top, and padded barefoot through to the cockpit.

When you got to the door, you saw how bad it was. There was melted, still scorching hot metal, sparking wires exposed, and dripping metal at the edges where the blade of his lightsaber had melted the metal on contact. You carefully stepped over the debris on the floor, and watched as he swung the lightsaber over and over, angered roars emitted from his modulator put your mind into that space where you were in a defensive mode, hyper aware of the danger you could face.

"Master Ren?" You started off respectfully, no need to further vex the man who towered over you, and was swinging a weapon that could end you in a moment.

"Fuck. Off. Go back to your quarters, now!" He snarled, swinging the lightsaber again, making you raise you hand to protect your face from the flying sparks as he cleaved through metal like it was little more than paper. His helmet was destroyed and half embedded in the wall of the ship where he had clearly smashed it into the wall in a temper.

"Of course. By all means, but I do feel the need to impress upon you that if you destroy the cockpit entirely, we will be stranded in space, and will not be able to get back to deal with whatever has pissed you off so entirely." Your voice was cool and collected, you did need him to understand this, but needed to remain the calm one. Not push him too much.

Turns out there is no tone for keeping Kylo calm and not vexing him when he was in this kind of a mood. You learned his entirely too quickly.

Kylo swung around and raised his hand, flinging you against the wall of the ship with the Force, you hit it with a grunt as the air was forced from you. You could feel the warm wetness of blood trickling down the back of your neck from where your head had hit the wall of the ship. Winded you gasped, but it didn't last long. Kylo squeezed his hand, and your ability to breathe was gone. You choked, panicked for a what felt like hours but it was merely a minute. Your eyes widened as you realised something was coming over you, then that eerie calm washed over you. You felt it, you knew now what it was, and you were scared what you'd do to protect yourself. Then you heard them; the voices. Screaming at you. Mocking your pain and lack of air. Barking orders and directions at you. A rage filled you, crawling through your veins like black tendrils, and even if you wanted to stop now – you couldn't.

You stilled and then lifted your own hand, and concentrated on nothing but the voices. A large sphere of crimson, almost glittering, sparking smoke appeared before your eyes, you saw Kylo's eyes widen and then you flicked your hand and it flew toward him, striking him in the chest. You saw Kylo drop the lightsaber, it switching off, the red hue it had been casting over the pair of you gone, and you were lit by nothing more like sparking wires, glowing abused metal, and whatever light was bleeding through from the back of the ship that Kylo hadn't yet destroyed. Kylo dropped you and you hit the floor with a thud as he writhed in agony on the floor of the ship but your focus didn't shift, your hand didn't waver, ready to do that again if you needed to. You were concentrating on the voices, listening to them, using the Force to bring pain to every cell in his body, your lip curled back in a snarl of your own, and the sound that came from you was primal and raw. He thrust a hand out and threw you down the hall of the ship as far away from him as he could to make the pain stop. He stood, and looked at you with wide eyes, his breaths coming in a ragged manner. His skin was sweaty, and pale from the pain, but still his hair framed his face like a raven coloured halo. He stalked down the hall of the ship toward you, you could see his mouth moving but couldn't hear a word he was saying.
