Author's Note: Welcome back to Hiding in Plain Sight! I have a new laptop so writing should be a lot smoother and easier for me – much less arguing with a newer laptop than there was with a 6 year+ one that kept crashing and refusing to open programs. And for some reason kept marking every word as a spelling mistake so editing was a nightmare. I digress. I hope you enjoy this update! I'm excited about this, I love anything related to Sith Lore. The Lore of Star Wars and the research is my favourite part of writing. Nerdy? Yes. Oh well. Let me know what you think. I see your comments and votes. I appreciate them more than you know. Thank you <3

Leaving the ship that you lived on with Kylo and the Knights had actually been more daunting than you had given it credit for. But this was something you needed to do. Finding your mother's tomb had been a task. It was likely from the get-go that she had been buried on Korriban near her Master, Darth Bane, in the Valley of the Sith Lords. You had decided that seeking out Bane's Tomb made more sense. But Korriban was a dangerous place, full of spirits and dangers so you needed a map. You had identified someone with a map to the Tomb and after weeks of chasing known sightings and wasted leads, you had finally got a hold of the man, and organised a meeting at Maz's on Takodana – a neutral space.
You ship, the TIE Zannah, was fast and had become home in the last few weeks of trying to hunt down the man with the map. Finally, you'd made contact, and now found yourself on your way to Takodana. The meeting wasn't for another day but getting there and making sure you were safe was a good idea as far as you were concerned. Landing on Takodana was easy enough, and you ensured that the TIE Zannah was safe before making your way to Maz's new castle bar. Walking inside, you were met with exactly what Kylo had described this place as during one of the few times you had ever heard him speak of his father – days before you had left, when you had mentioned that you would use Maz's as a safe meeting point due to Maz's neutrality when it came to illicit meetings and trading. He had told you how Han often sold and traded items and shipments at Maz's when he had been alive and smuggling.
Inside was busy, loud and smoky. You walked over to the bar, and grabbed a drink, looking around. You spotted a few familiar faces – bounty hunters you knew Kylo used. There was Bazine. A spy for... well anyone willing to pay her enough credits. She was too expensive as far as you were concerned and often told Kylo as much. Maybe that was your old Major brain working it's will – always thinking of budgeting. Your comms link went off, it had been going off far more often than you'd have liked in the last few weeks. If it wasn't Kylo, it was Kuruk, or one of the other Knights. You often wondered if they had nothing better to do than bother you. Kylo was meant to be on Exegol. Kuruk and the Knights were meant to be keeping the Final order running in their Master's absence. They were meant to be making plans about the Rebels, and about Pryde. But it would seem they have found time to bother you repeatedly.
You put it aside again. There was nothing more you could tell the Knights, whichever of them it was, than you had already told them. You were still on the trail of the man with the map. You were still needing to go to Korriban. After the meeting you'd call back, at least then you'd have more answers for them. You listened to the music playing in the bar, something that sounded reminiscent of something you'd heard on Tattooine in a Cantina when you'd been following a lead. Your comms link went again, and you sighed, and pulled it out, maybe it was an emergency? You hoped it was, or they'd be getting a sharp tongued telling for this.
"Hello?"
"Finally, why haven't you been answering my calls?" Demanded Kuruk, his tone impatient.
"Because I have nothing to tell you, nothing new, nothing has changed." You sighed, Kuruk, being as over protective as usual, "What do you need, Ruk? Is everything okay?"
