Chapter 21

-Nova POV-

You had the corellian hounds in a fighting pit in the training suites of the Stormtroopers. You had already dropped in three rebels that had been captured, and a spy that had been discovered by his ridiculously loud thoughts as Kylo and yourself had passed him in the corridors. You had watched as the hounds had followed the training Pryde had ensured they'd gotten, and tore the men apart. Kylo had suggested that the hounds were merely unleashed on the next Rebel base or Pryde's fleet ship that they came across and gotten rid of. You didn't want to do that, you wanted to feed Pryde to them for trying to kill the Knights. You wondered how you had gotten here, when you had first met Kylo and the Knights, you'd been pretty carefree, sassy and sarcastic, but a normal life. You didn't get along with your dad - but you were in no way the only person ever to not get along with a parent. But now, here you were, a Sith War child, a different name, a different history, a different life. You felt different. You felt like that you had been killed, and been killed by Pryde. That's what you were truly angry about. He had let you build this faux life, fake and unreal, an almost pretty lie. Just flawed enough to make it real.... and then it was torn from you cruelly. You felt like you didn't know who you were anymore, and the more you thought about it, the angrier you got, and the more you wanted to hurt people, kill people, see blood run. You scared yourself sometimes, but you wouldn't let anyone know that. You didn't want them to think you were crazy, or try to contain or control you. You watched the hounds fighting one another in the pit, wrestling and trying to get the upperhand, snarling and growling at one another.

"Nova?"

You were pulled from your thoughts by Kylo, and then you smiled a little at him, "Master Ren. What can I do for you?"

"Get rid of those beasts, apprentice. It's not good for you." Kylo looked down at the hounds, and then back at you, "And then, we have a mission, down onto one of the planets Pryde has taken. We are going in to kill his men. There aren't that many, he's using dreadnoughts to create a net around the planet. We use the New Supremacy and our fleet, which is much bigger, to keep them engaged, and destroy them, and we kill the guards on the planet. Me, you and the Knights are going down with Stormtrooper squads."

"Okay... I'll start getting things ready so I'm ready to head out as soon as you are." You nodded, and walked from the training suite, followed by Kylo. "Does he have any idea we are coming? Because knowing and not knowing makes this two very different missions for us."

"As far as I am aware, he has no idea," Kylo answered, walking along side you, "I believe we got all of the spies, and I have accepted no new officers in recent weeks, so hopefully, we have full operational security."

"Then this may be bloody for him, but we should be able to pull it off relatively unscathed."

"Exactly. He also had new bombs on planet, that he's had the local munitions builders making, I want them before we get off planet. Once secured and Pryde's fleet has been made to retreat, we can send down supplies, and get the planet back on side. And then once again, we have our munitions planet back. He'll double down on the others he has, and they'll be a harder fight, but it's a start."

"Get the New Supremacy and Star Destroyers and Dreadnoughts to attack all at once, take out as many as possible around the planet. We should try and get back Kuat too. Munitions and Ship building are most important."

"That's a good idea. We'll sit the command structure down and organise the hit on the planet guard fleet, we'll leave out about us going down to the planets."

"This isn't just about killing his men on planet, what has he got?"

"A spy says he has a facility there. I wanna know what he has there."
