He's no bald, not harpy nor double-headed,
He's the not-famous Pithecophaga jefferyi.
He's not just the king of the sky,
But the king of the birds around the world. His wings must be taller than you,
Has white-colored plummage and shaggy crest,
Eyes reflect its shape to its people,
And weights much heavier than your newborn. He's a rare gem that can be found only in one country,
Seen by a few eyes who personally fight for him,
Catching one is a dream of once in a lifetime,
Treating one holds high pressure and an honor. He may be largest in terms of length and wing surface,
His female counterpart is much greater.
Courtings are still famous for them; once paired,
He’ll never leave her and a helpmate to warm eaglet.Hide your macaques nor are your large pit birds,
‘Cause that innocent round eyes has clandestine behavior;
Eating monkeys are part of his diet,
Deers and large snakes are not exempted.Unending logging; mining, polution,
Exposure to pesticides that affect breeding,
Deforestation, local traps, food crises, and being eaten.
The sad truth of a critically endengered king bird. He's a national bird, an emblem.
His presence alone glorifies his Creator.
He is used by God to help protect and conserves
The future generetion of the likes of him and the people.***
Never thought I’d cry watching a documentary about this.–outofwordtheater
