Beads of sweat forms on her forehead,
She wipes them off with her forefinger.
She heaves a long sigh, managing her breathe,
She mutters words of surrendering.She struggles with her own demon
That some may know and some may not.
It doesn't matter for they can't help her
In fighting the battle that could never cease.Some fights their battle with ease,
But she is nowhere near at ease.
She fights on her bed, alone,
Thinking she'll get out of there soon.She holds on the promise of getting up,
When she could no longer battle up
For she wins the fight for that short while,
Only to fight another battle next month.
