At The Attic

Pushing the old wooden door up,
It shook me as I step up.
This place is an old one.
I should object just this once!

The darkness filled my eyes eventually.
The light went on that relieved my anxiety.
I uttered thanks as I looked at the old lady.
She nod as she walk away, finally!

The light seems urging me,
The place is tempting me.
I analyzed the place,
This seems contiguous for me.

Primeval walls at the attic,
A wall filled with things unknown.
There's this creepy tall ancient figurines.
Near it, a bad bed for me to sleep on.

The empty walls filled with paintings,
Paired with marvelous shade of highlights.
Staring at it, made me to continue my laments these past few days I'm trying to cover.

I gave myself another inspection for my future.
Looking at it to see the dust everywhere.
This place gives me creeps.
This attic must be cleaned up!

I went over to see the window was closed.
I opened it and the breezing air felt cold.
Dark sky, the bright stars, and the moon.
Sure thing, it's the nighttime.

What's my purpose in coming here for?
I place down my things on the floor.
What is exactly my purpose?
I change my lifestyle to a normal spouse.

I look over to the whole place.
It makes me smiling just by thinking that I will be living here for mother's know how long.
Sadness change my smile. Can I survive?
