Back at the Yiga Clan hideout, Mistress Dume sat atop a sophisticated chair, which formerly belonged to the old Yiga Leader, Kohga.
She was grumbling to herself, and felt very frustrated, for she had heard of the scuffle between her foot-soldiers and the knight and princess she was determined to destroy.
"What do you mean they fought back, and the princess conjured up some sort of barrier?!" She had yelled at the two Yiga when they returned empty-handed.
"Get out of my sight, I don't even want to look at you two," she scowled, crossing her arms over her chest and huffing.
That was about ten minutes ago.
Ever since, she'd been contemplating why her elaborate scheme wasn't going well.
It had been very successful in the beginning, managing to curse Zelda with ease, but ever since then, things hadn't been really going to plan.
The day of Zelda's doomed fate was coming in less than a week now. And Dume had been informed of the princess's little pilgrimage through Hyrule to collect ingredients for a cure.
She also now knew that the princess's devoted people would stop at nothing to protect her.
Perhaps an advantage could be manipulated.
All of a sudden, another Yiga barged into her chambers, interrupting her train of thought.
"I thought I told everyone that you had to knock at my door!" She shouted irritably.
A blademaster had just walked in, he had his giant windcleaver strapped to his back.
"Mistress Dume, I simply seek to inquire what our plan is going to be now that the princess and her knight are seeking out a cure," he spoke.
Dume huffed again. "That's what I'm trying to figure out, but my mind refuses to produce anything," she complained, rubbing her temples.
"If I may, Mistress, me and some of my fellow Yiga thought of something maybe you'd find interest in me sharing," he replied.
Dume, who had her head resting in her palm now, sighed heavily.
"My brain's drier than this blasted desert, I'm open to anything at this point," she grumbled.
The blademaster nodded his head.
"We've seen this with our own eyes countless times. The love those two have for each other is strong, yet they still haven't had the courage to admit it," he explained. "I say it'd be pretty easy to use that in our favor."
Dume raised an eyebrow. "Go on," she urged.
"We sweep one away and leave the other to be alone and worried. I recommend taking away the knight. She'll be devastated and unprotected."
"Once we've kidnapped the boy, the princess will surely begin to panic, and she'll send her troops to look for him and be left unguarded at her castle."
"Finally, we'll find some way to slip a silent princess into her grasp, and she'll be fast asleep in no time," the blademaster concluded.
All the while, Dume nodded in approval at his plan, a very clever one it was.
"What an idea," she spoke. "Thank you very much, mighty blademaster. You may go; I'll work out the details."

Back at Rito Village, Link and Zelda were at the inn, going over the list of ingredients to see if they needed anything else. Link placed his finger on the page as he skimmed over everything.
