Following the disastrous Calamity, the kingdom of Hyrule was in the process of flourishing back to its former glory.
Princess Zelda had sought the help of the four great races to assist in the reconstruction, along with several Sheikah and Hylians who were helping to rebuild Hyrule Castle and Castle Town.
The castle itself was nearly finished, which was pretty impressive given they'd only been working on it for a few months now, and it was almost ready for Zelda to move back in.
Speaking of the princess, this particular day, she was taking a walk with her knight throughout the bustling streets of the newly rebuilt Castle Town, admiring everything around them.
"Isn't it wonderful, Link?" She said to her knight, the biggest smile on her face.
Link couldn't help but chuckle at her excitement.
"Bolson informed me he wanted to speak with us today; he's in the tavern," Zelda said, pointing to it on the side of the street, near all the shops.
"I hope he tells us you can finally move back into the castle again," Link mused, a small sigh escaping him.
Zelda giggled. "We'll just have to see," she replied, as Link opened the tavern door for her.
When they entered, they almost immediately spotted Bolson's brightly colored attire from across the room. He was sitting at a table near the window and waved to them.
The princess and knight hurried over and sat down at his table.
"So wonderful you two could make it!" Bolson beamed, taking a sip of his drink, "I'm sure you've both seen the progression we've made on the construction," he said.
A big smile bloomed on Zelda's face.
"Of course! We're getting back up on our feet much faster than I initially thought."
Bolson nodded, setting down his cup. "Our workers have exceeded my own expectations as well. As a matter of fact, you might be able to move back into your castle soon."
"I hope so too," Zelda said, "the inn staff has been so kind; I'll miss them," she said, as Bolson nodded his head.
"In actuality princess, the main reason I asked you here is because I had something I wanted to suggest," he began again.
"Oh?" Zelda raised an eyebrow.
"Well, you see, I was going to suggest that after these many months of hard work we should do something to celebrate, y'know?" Bolson explained, "I was thinking... maybe a party of some kind?"
The knight and princess looked at each other, pausing for moment before smiling.
"Bolson, what an amazing idea!" Zelda said. "I do agree, that after all these months, we do deserve some sort of reward."
"You won't have to worry about the planning much, princess, me and the others would help arrange it," Bolson replied.
"Maybe I can get Kass to come and play," Link added, smiling fondly at the thought of his minstrel friend.
Zelda smiled at him. "Well, then I guess it's settled. Bolson, you have my royal permission. I'm sure you'll put together something amazing," she said.
Bolson raised his mug once again. "Don't worry, your highness, we'll have the perfect celebration ready for all of us."
Link nodded in agreement.
"This is going to be so much fun!" the architect cheered, grabbing his drink and making a comedically swift exit out the door.
