A brown feathered rito walked down several flights of stairs, going from step to step with a sort of tenseness in his feet.
He made his way to the village entrance, nodding his head in greeting to the guards who stood by the gate, and they nodded back.
However, instead of spreading his wings and taking off into the sky, the rito began walking across the bridge.
Both guards turned to each other, a look of confusion in their eyes.
"Huh...what an odd fellow..." one of them muttered to himself.
The brown-feathered rito continued walking until he'd crossed the bridge. Then, he ducked into the woods, being careful as to avoid the troops that were exploring the area Link had disappeared in.
He took a narrow path until he'd reached a small clearing in the woods where a bunch of Yiga Clan members, along with their sorceress leader awaited him.
"Gee, you sure took your time," Dume complained, chucking an apple she'd been eating into a bush.
The rito, who was actually a Yiga, melted back into his true form, shaking his head.
"Forgive me, Mistress. The princess is no longer at the village. It appears she's been taken back to the castle as you predicted," he replied, and Dume's foul mood disappeared almost instantly.
"Perfect!" The sorceress said with glee, pulling out her notorious magical ball. "Everything's going according to plan."
"Wait, Miss, why would there be silent princesses in the castle?" One Yiga asked.
"Oh hush!" She spoke irritably, motioning for all the Yiga to get near her so she could teleport them back to the hideout.
"I'll figure something out. Now come, we must make sure our little 'guest' hasn't tried to escape."
And after Dume had spoken her incantation, they were gone within a giant burst of smoke.

A teal glow filled the hallways of Hyrule Castle as the four champions began their search for the princess. Outside, the sun had already began to set. It was almost too difficult to believe Link had gone missing only earlier that day; everything had happened so fast.
"Where could she be?" Mipha wondered, as they made their way past the throne room.
"I suspect she's in her bedroom, it would make the most sense," Urbosa replied, as she led the way.
Sure enough, after a few more moments of walking, the door to the princess's bedroom came into view.
"Ah, there it is!" Urbosa said, pointing to it. "Revali, can you check to make sure she's in there?"
The rito shrugged his feathered shoulders.
"Sure, I guess," he said, opening his wings and taking flight. He warped through the powerful stone walls of the castle with ease and made his way to the outside. Careful as to not be spotted, he made his way around the tower to the princess's window.
Upon looking inside, he could see Zelda, sitting at her desk with her head in her palm; she wore a sad expression. It pained him a little to witness.
After getting the visual, Revali then flew back into the hall where his friends awaited him.
"Well?" Daruk asked. "Is she in there?"
The rito nodded. "She's in there alright, though not in the happiest mood in the world." He explained, crossing his wings in front of his chest. "She seemed sad. I don't blame her though, not with Link missing and all that."
