By now, the townspeople had begun crowding into the castle, intent on discovering the truth about what Link was up to and what had become of Zelda.
Worried whispers filled the throne room, as everyone waited intently for anything that would let them know the princess was safe.
The champions, in an effort to not be seen by any mortal eyes, retreated to one of the higher up balconies that was conveniently shrouded by pillars and velvet draperies.
Suddenly, a trumpeter sounded his horn, which was followed by another, and yet another.
The hundreds of eyes turned to look at the central grand staircases. The trumpeters were sounding the arrival of royalty.
Sure enough, Princess Zelda appeared from the top of the stairs; her arm was linked around her knight's.
The crowd burst into cheers of celebration and joy. Their treasured princess had awakened.
From up on the balcony, Urbosa pulled Revali into a sudden hug.
"Urbosa! Must you do this in front of everyone?!" He asked in a disgusted tone; however, the chief didn't care, she simply laughed and hugged him tighter, outstretching her other arm towards Mipha.
"I'm just relieved and thrilled our work is done." She said, pulling in the zora princess, who squeezed her right back.
Daruk finished it all off by picking the three of them up in his huge arms, much to Revali's sour grumbling.
"Oh... I just love happy endings!" Mipha sighed happily, tears of joy brimming in her eyes.

About a week later, the ballroom had been decorated lavishly, covered in beautiful white and blue silent princesses. It was about time the citizens of Hyrule had their much-needed celebration. Zelda was in her room, preparing for the party.
She'd gotten a handmade ballgown from one of the tailors in Castle Town, who's jaw had dropped upon the request to make a dress for the princess.
The gown had a large tulle skirt and puffy sleeves. It was crafted out of beautiful sky-blue fabric that would sparkle in the candlelight of the room.
Zelda stared at herself in the mirror. Her hair had been pinned up into an elegant bun, two golden strands framed her blushed face, and crown of diamonds sat atop her head.
She sighed nervously as butterflies fluttered in her stomach; her door opened.
"Princess, it's time," a voice called; it was a maid of course. The princess spun around; her dress gently rustled against the ground.
"I'll be right there," she replied with a smile.
The maid smiled back and left, leaving Zelda alone in her room again.
The princess turned to follow the maid out the door, but then realized she was forgetting something.
She rushed back to her vanity and grabbed a little plush box out of one of the drawers where she kept her makeup and pearls.
Stuffing it into her pocket, she quickly picked up the ends of her gown and headed out.

People of every Hyrulean race gathered in the ballroom. Zoras, Ritos, Gorons, Gerudos, Shekiah, and Hylians alike, were all dressed in the most beautiful attire. It was a sea of satin, silk, and suits.
Link stood among the crowd; he was speaking to the gerudo leader, Riju, who was dressed in an emerald-green dress and a gold crown, along with Yunobo, a goron descendant of Daruk, who wore a fine navy-blue vest with his hair slicked back.
