Chapter 3: Vanished
"Okay. Wala nang bawian. I will bite you whenever I want," he concluded.
I was about to hit him when Syren and Astro stopped me.
"Proceed with our discussion. Stop this mess. You two can settle this later," Syren's face became stoic.
I glared at him when I noticed that he was suppressing his laugh.
"So, Draven is a vampire, Syren is a mermaid, and I am a god. How about you, Amara?" Astro asked.
"Well, I love sucking blood, so I'm totally a vampire." I shrugged my shoulders and looked away.
"Okay. As they said earlier, they group us by our tribes, right? The question is, how are Syren and I related? It is understandable when it comes to Amara and Draven because they're both vampires.
Don't overthink too much, Astro," Draven said.
"Draven has a point. Don't think too much." I smiled. "So, is this settled? Can we go shopping now?"
"Let's go, Amara!" Syren squealed.
"Lords and Ladies, please follow me."
The room was vast, its walls and floors gleaming with polished steel and marble. Rows upon rows of cars, each more luxurious than the last, filled the space. Sleek sports cars in vibrant reds and blues, classic black sedans, and custom-built vehicles with intricate designs stood ready. The dim lighting added a mysterious aura, with only spotlights highlighting the contours of the cars.
Our eyes roamed around as we listened to what the receptionist said. The interior was a little bit scary because it was dim and only silence dominated the whole place.
"In this Academy, all of you, Elites, have your own cars. Every building here has a roadway for cars. You can always use your car wherever you go. Just don't go out of this Academy," she breathed out.
"I know that all of you can escape this Academy easily." She chuckled. "You can kill me in just a second if you wanted. But I didn't let you do it."
"Can I ask all of you?" she suddenly asked.
"What?" we simultaneously asked her back.
"Just answer me. It's just a yes or no."
We nodded and waited for her question.
"Have you all read the rules and regulations of this Academy?"
"No."
"Yes."
Oh? Really? Siya pa?
"That's great." The receptionist smiled at us dangerously, and when her eyes landed on Draven's, her smile became sweet. "I hope the three of you will read it soon before it's too late."
