Chapter 6

Chapter 6: Seduce

Past events. Past incidents. Sometimes, the past can even reflect in the present day. We can't do anything about it if destiny planned it all along. Ang mga hindi pa tapos na gawain o tinatawag nating unfinished task ay ang pangkaraniwang dahilan kung bakit tayo nagbabalik-tanaw sa ating nakaraan. We need to figure out the unfinished task before it's too late.

"Hey, Amara. Can you eat faster than usual? We're going to be late," Syren pouted as she finished her breakfast. "Paano ba naman kasi, eh. Iniwan na tayo ng two perverts."

"Yeah, right," I lazily responded.

We woke up late, so the two guys left us behind. They didn't want to be late, so they left us hanging. They said we were too slow fixing ourselves if they had to wait for us.

Nang mahanap namin ang room para sa subject na weapons ay agad kaming pumasok. I raised my eyebrows when I saw the dragon lady flirting with Draven. I whined as I walked towards the chair far away from them.

The whole room was filled with weapons: different kinds of knives, swords, shurikens, etc. I didn't recognize some of them because our King preferred to train us in physical combat. He said if you are adroit at physical combat, you will have an advantage. Well, I agreed with him.

The space in this room was enough for us to practice with the weapons. Side by side were chairs that were enough for all of us.

Naputol ang pag-iisip ko nang makitang halos halikan na ni Kirsten si Draven sa labi. I got irritated with the idea of them kissing. Draven's arms were encircled around her small back.

"Oh, Draven. You're so sweet." She kissed Draven's cheeks as she chuckled. She looked at me and when she caught that I was staring at them, she raised her right eyebrow and smirked.

Flirting with each other pala, so it means they like each other? May pasabi-sabi pa si Draven kahapon na "this kind of woman I will hate for sure". Eh, gusto naman niya. Tsk.

I don't care about them, anyway.

Syren is with Astro right now. Hmm, I think they had a relationship back then? Or are they in a relationship today?

I straightened my back when our professor arrived. The professor walked to the front, and the large table was in front of her. She sat comfortably as her eyes wandered around.

"So, I'm Claudia, your professor in weapons. You don't need to know about my family name. It's not important."

Kinuha niya ang limang dagger at walang pasabing hinagis isa-isa sa iba't-ibang direksiyon. My classmates panicked while I sat coolly in my chair. Nakita kong papunta ang isang dagger patungo sa direksiyon ko pero hindi ako gumalaw. Titig na titig ako roon habang ang aking kanang kamay ay tumatapik-tapik sa armrest ng aking upuan. Bigla akong nasilaw at napakurap pero pagkamulat ko ay bigla itong lumihis sa ibang direksiyon.

"Good. All of you have great reflexes. So, you must be familiar with some weapons, right? Some or almost?" She chuckled.

No one responded to her. She cleared her throat and became serious. Tinignan niya ang nasa harapan at kumuha ng isang hindi ko pamilyar na kutsilyo. Everyone got alert because it seemed like she would throw that knife at us. We relaxed when she smiled as if she knew what we were thinking.

She raised the unfamiliar knife. "Everybody knows this?"

"Yes," all of them answered.

Am I the only one who couldn't recognize that?

"Hmm. That's good." She nodded as she walked around. Her brows furrowed when I raised my right hand. "Yes?"

"I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I don't know what kind of knife that is." I stooped as my cheeks burned.
