Chapter 27: Wrong
"Who do you think is the one who helped me?"
Did I hear it right? Did I really hear Syren's name from Kirsten's mouth? Or am I just imagining it?
"What? Come again? What did you just say? Who?"
"Whatever, Amara. It seems like you didn't want to believe me." She rolled her eyes. "Believe what you want to believe."
I glared at her. "Answer me directly, Kirsten."
"What?! I already answered your questions directly! What else do you want to know?" she asked harshly. She's irritated right now.
Well, we are just the same, irritated.
"What the fuck happened to the rules if you are here?! If they are here? The two idiots from the first day we stepped inside this academy?"
"Well, it's not my story to tell, and also, it's not my problem anymore. It's yours. Solve it yourself." Tumalikod siya at handa nang lumabas sa tinutuluyan ko nang biglang huminto ang oras.
I hate her guts.
Just like the other day, when I want to stop time, clocks were scattered everywhere, and their hands stopped moving. The yellow dust also spread throughout the whole place.
It is impossible that she's alive right now because of the rules and regulations of this academy.
Black was all I could see the moment I appeared here. I don't know what this place is because I couldn't see anything, only blackness. I waited for more minutes until a lady, lying down, appeared out of nowhere. Her whole body was covered by a violet light that kept turning on and off, indicating she was on the brink of death. She was holding her neck as if someone was choking her.
I approached her and looked at her. I don't know if I should be glad to see her suffer.
Kirsten.
Well, what is the use of pitying her when she's alive in the present?
I sighed.
She immediately ran towards where Kirsten was lying.
I thought she would help her, but to my shock, she suddenly strangled her. Kirsten, eyes closed, tried to stop her by holding her hand.
The woman loosened her hold on Kirsten's neck. "I really wanted to kill you right now, but we still need you."
When she spoke, I recognized her. My vision darkened as she forced something down Kirsten's throat, causing Kirsten's eyes to snap open. She suddenly stood up and pushed Tyesha, who ended up sitting on the floor.
Tyesha glared at Kirsten.
"I want you to suffer right now because of your actions and words towards me when we were at that academy." She stood up from the floor. "But it's my plan after all. Job well done. But before that..." she paused.
"You need to go back to the building where the important things are. That's an order from above," she stated and walked out.
After Tyesha left, Kirsten sat on the floor, gasping for air, probably due to Tyesha's chokehold.
