Children can't wait to grow up.
It's true
You hear me talking about it daily
Moving away, different city, different country
Going out with friends
Studying at a university
Working my dream job
I don't want to grow up.
It's true
You never hear me talking about it
It's a feeling, I kept on my own
This, life like this, is the most beautiful life I can imagine if I stopped considering the natural urge to explore. That people always want what they don't have
Because, if I had none of these things
If I had the choice between here and now and what I dream of for the future
I'd choose today
Life as it is
Being a child, staying up all night to do homework, failing exams, being tired in the morning, being addicted to my mobile
But what you hear me saying is a wish to die quite early in life
Don't mean it seriously
I just can't imagine growing up
For the fact that from 18 on it can only get worse
I love life
I'm scared to lose it; I'm scared to live with it
