I asked for a reason. Myself, my lovers, the universe. I opened up to them and asked for a reason. Why does the sun go down? Why does it come back up? Why are humans born? Why do humans die? I kept asking, every morning, every night. When they told me to shut up, I wondered it silence. But I'd never stop questioning the world. I found a lover and I trusted her more than anyone before. We were lying under the trees on a field and I asked her for a reason.
I said 'leave' while I wanted you to stay
But I'd never tell you because I wanted myself to mean it.
