Chapter 25

Next day when I came home from the office I expected Priya on the living room. But she isn't there. I thought why she isn't here. I have developed a habit of seeing her face first thing when I come home. That gives me a calmness and all my tiredness vanishes. But today when I didn't see her. I got a bit tensed. I asked about her from a maid. She informed she's in home. Maybe she's on our room. Then I dragged myself to our room to see her. But when I was approaching towards the door. I heard a beautiful music was coming from the room. The sound was of a guitar playing and with that a beautiful melodious voice of singing. But maybe that's a hindi song cause it wasn't english song.
I silently opened the door but found no one. Then I listened carefully and realised it was coming from the balcony. I sneakily peeked from the door of balcony and the scene in front of me made my heart bloom. I saw Priya was singing and playing a guitar.

Her eyes were closed. It was like she was not only singing but she was feeling the song. Her voice was coming from her heart not only from her vocal cords. I leaned on the wall and closed my eyes feel her voice and the music. But not before silently taking a photo of her.
When the song ended she opened her eyes. I was also in a trance. When she talked my trance was broken.
Priya - Oh Mr. Wilson. When did you arrived? I am sorry. I was kinda lost.
Adonis - I was lost too. I came when you were lost. I got lost too with that melodious voice of yours.
She smiled shyly.
Priya - I hope you didn't mind I played your guitar. Today I went to your study to get a book to read. But when I entered I saw the guitar. So I played it. I hope you don't mind it.
Adonis - Mind! I am glad you did. It was unused for so long. Thanks for using it this beautifully. I started learning guitar but stopped after a month. But how many talents you have hidden inside you?
Priya *smiled shyly* - It's nothing Mr. Wilson. I learned singing for 5years. My baba I mean my father taught me to play guitar. I was actually missing him today very much. So when I saw your guitar in the study I couldn't resist.
I went to her and sat beside her. I took her hand in my owns.
Adonis - I know you miss him. But trust me he is so much proud of you. You grew up so talented. He is watching you and saying, " That's my girl👍". Trust me.
She silently looked at me with teary eyes and a smile in her face.
Adonis - From today onwards this guitar is yours. I know you will make it a good use. By the way what was the song? The tune was awesome.
Priya - Oh it's " Tu Zaroori ". It's a hindi bollywood song from a movie called Zidd.
Adonis - Awesome. I am amazed by your talents. Your voice is so melodious. It was like spring breeze. You were really enjoying. I am seeing you enjoying so much. You were totally emerged in that.
I thought in my mind Thank you for coming in my life and fill it with love. Also now I got someone beside my mother to idolize. You have such strong character and great personality. I am happy and proud that I got a person in my life whom I idolize and admire more than I love that person.
My heart filled with respect for her. She makes me fill like home. This house made of concrete never attracted me. I was never eager to return. But now I wait to come home. Cause it's now home for me, my place of comfort. I didn't knew only a person's presence can make one feel so comfortable and homely. Where were you my whole life Priya? I just lived for these 30 years of my life. But my heart started to beat when you came in my life. Just stay with me. Now I can't imagine this house and my life without you. Your talents amaze me, you mischiefs make me feel like a teenager which I missed as I was never expressive and fun in my teenager I was focused only to my studies and become a successful person. But you are giving me those memories people usually had in teenager. You are completing my life. I am filled with love and joy by just staying with you. You can't imagine how much I am falling for you every minute, every second.
Then we went inside the room and I got freshen up. While having dinner I remembered the guys told me that they are coming to meet us tomorrow evening.
Adonis - Ms. Majumder.
Priya - Yes?
Adonis *a bit hesitatingly* - Ummm... Actually tomorrow evening my 4 friends are coming. Actually calling them friends is an understatement. They are my extended family. But if you feel alright then only I will confirm them. If you are not comfortable then I will cancel the plan.
Priya - Why cancel? Will it be formal or just homely friend get together kind of casual?
Adonis - But are you comfortable?
Priya - Why not? I very rarely go out. I was kinda missing my bestie. Though we talk everyday over phone but meet her was a different thing. I will be happy if they come. Just tell me what they love to eat I will arrange everything accordingly.
Adonis * happy to hear that* - Thank you.
Priya - Don't thank me please Mr. Wilson.
Adonis - Tell me one thing. Why do you always address me as Mr. Wilson? Don't you like my name?
Priya *startled a bit* - Huh???
Adonis - Iam asking don't you like my name? Mr. Wilson makes me feel old.
Priya * teasing* - Well you are getting old. What's denying in it old man?
Adonis - Very funny! But tell me why don't you call me by my name?
Priya - You too address me as Ms. Majumder not Priyadarshini.
Adonis - Yeah good point. Then let's do a thing you call me by my name I will try to call you by yours as your is big and complicated.
Priya - Priya will be enough.
Adonis - Ok. Priya.
Priya - Ok the Adonis.
Adonis - Well one thing Priya. My friends knows me very well and everything about me.... About us.
Priya - That's a good thing. Nothing should be hidden from soulmates. Also you share everything with them then they must very close to you.
Adonis - Yeah. They are all my same except Thomas. He is more younger than even you. I met them during painting class and since then they became my family. My mother love them too as she loves me.
Priya - Ok. Now I am looking forward to meet them. Tomorrow I will make sure arrangements are good.
Adonis - Don't worry Priya you don't have to do anything. Just tell Mrs. Ben that they are coming. She knows them very well. She will make all the arrangements accordingly.
Priya - Ok. Do I have to appear formal or casual?
Adonis - Just be yourself. Stay comfortable. No need to extravagant or anything. You don't need accessories. You simplicity makes you beautiful.
She got all red. Oh God I love to see her red like this. She's so cute when she's shy. I just want to hug her tightly and pinch her cheeks. But I can't. I can notice one thing her chubbiness has been reduced much. Maybe she started dancing again that's why. But she still looks cute as she used to look when she was chubby. I can't tell that by seeing her as she always wears oversized clothes. I can see her weight lose by looking at her face.
