Chapter 13

After 2 months settling everything we hold a small wedding in the church. I came to knew from Thomas that she loves simple things and can’t walk on heels. I arranged everything according to her like. Simple white dress with veil, flats, simple yet elegant ring. Her makeup was done by the makeup artists hired by me. 👇

When she walked down the isle I was mesmerized by her beauty. I was feeling like I am the luckiest human of this world. She was looking like an angle. After taking our vows when the priest said to kiss I saw an discomfort in her face. As I leaned towards her she closed her eyes tightly. I chuckled at her cuteness and lightly peaked on her forehead. She immediately looked at me with confused eyes but then she looked at different direction to avoid eye contact. After the ceremony finished she changed and went to her house. After returning I also started doing shopping and arranging something that she wanted me to arrange. Things like some comfy boyish clothes, oversized tees, hoodies, sweatshirts, track pant, trousers, pj’s, denims etc. She wants to live like herself, and I think she is a tomboy kinda girl. I arranged everything and went to the airport after 3days of our wedding we are going to today. We went to airport separately as her families are coming to see her off. After the formalities are done we met inside the airport and went ahead towards my private get. It’s going to be a look flight. After settling down she just drank some water, put her headphones on and went to sleep not even glancing me for once. I was watching her, she was sleeping peacefully. In the middle of the flight she was awake once to just freshen up and eat something then again she went to sleep! How can a person sleep this much! I let her sleep and called at house for some arrangements and food. Before we could land I woke her up and told her to freshen up and also if she want to change or do some makeup. She went to washroom to freshen up and changed her clothes in a oversized hoodie, denim and a mask to fully cover her face. I asked her about applying some makeup but her reply made me stunned and I understood why Thomas told me she is a short-tempered and savage girl. She said, “don’t expect me to be like other girls who just pour makeup on their faces all time just to hide their insecurity in the name of looking presentable. I like to stay away from chemicals as much as I can. I put on that shit when it’s any occasion or any of my dance programmes”. I was like wow! This kind of girls still exists. After landing we went out from the airport and went to my car. I started to drive. I secretly looked at her I must say she was impressed. She was staring at my the way I was driving. She came to reality when her phone started ringing. She answered it shortly informing her family about herself and cut the call. I looked at her she was looking on her phone I can see that she is embarrassed for staring at me like that.

Present time next morning of Priyadarshini left Adonis, Adonis p.o.v –
I got out from the bed as I couldn’t sleep last night. I was worried, I was hurt, heart broken. I spent the night thinking about the past. How she came to my life. I went to take a shower. After a long shower I got out from washroom and went to closet room where both of our clothes used to be put. I can’t live alone in this house, her memories is all over the house. I opened a drawer of her closet. Tears were escaping from my eyes. She left the diamond necklace👇

which I gave her to wear at one of my business party where a horrible incident was about to take place. That’s why I am scared about her whereabouts. That incident still gives me chills. She was strong but still was terrified about that incident it took her several days to forget about that incident. I kept the necklace on her closet again, got ready and left the house to meet Thomas. I meet him in our usual spot. When I saw him I ran towards him and grabbed his hands tightly asking him about my Priya. I can’t control myself anymore. Thomas somehow managed to calm me down a bit and made me sit. Then he started to talk. He told me that Priya is with him and she also doing a job as an Indian Classical dance mentor in a very reputed academy.
