Chapter 33

**** 2 and a Half Months Ago****

Adonis returned home and Priya was on the living room as usual waiting for him. Today he got an invitation that there's an very private party for some of the businessmen. Adonis and also his friends were invited too. As that was a private party so he was requested to bring his wife with him.

He went to his room. After freshening up and changing he came back to the living room. Priya came with their coffees. She handed him his coffee and sat beside him in the couch. Adonis then spoke up.

" Priya..." Adonis called out softly.

"Hmm?" Priya hummed in response sipping slowly her coffee.

"Actually Priya I got an invitation of a private party." Adonis spoke a bit hesitantly.

"Cool! When?" Priya asked casually looking at her swirling coffee.

" This Friday night means tomorrow evening."  Adonis spoke looking at her.

"Good." Priya spoke still concentrated on her coffee.

" Actually Priya, as it's a private party and not many people will be there and no media is allowed so I was requested to bring you with me." Adonis spoke a bit hesitantly looking at her with nervousness.

"Me?" Priya asked looking at him. Her big eyes got a bit more wide in surprise.

" Yes. But if only you would like to." Adonis spoke trying not to let her pressurized.

" Will you like if I go there?" Priya asked calmly looking at him.

" Ofcourse!" That was just immediately went out from Adonis 's lips.

" But Adonis, there's a maybe tini, tiny bit problem." Priya spoke smiling nervously. Adonis looked at her confused.

" I.... Uhh!!! I don't have any appropriate dress. Also I never wore one. That too formal!  Also I don't know anything about these parties." Priya spoke embarrassedly scratching the back of her neck.

" It's ok. Dress isn't a matter as that will i manage. I just hope you will like my choice. Also I will drop you to the salon. I will book an appointment now. You don't have to worry about a thing. Also, you don't have to be tensed. I as well as guys will also be there." Adonis spoke almost lit up like a tubelight.

" That means bhaitu will be there too?"  Priya also reflected same expression as the thought of someone she knows will be there comforted her. Adonis knew that that was why he mentioned.

" Yes your bhaitu will be there too!" Adonis spoke smiling at her.

" Ok." Priya spoke smiling. Adonis promised himself to keep her smiling like this for the rest of his life. As this smile was lighting up Adonis's dull, dark and lonely soul.

" Ok then. Please excuse me for a moment I have to make some calls." Adonis spoke got up and went to study to make some arrangements.

"Ok." Priya spoke smiling.

After Adonis left she took out her phone and scrolling randomly feeling happy and giddy for unknown reasons.
