Sage gasped as her eyes opened, confused the blonde vampire looked around noticing the scenery, she was at the school. She had no idea how she got here, she had remembered falling asleep in Stiles' arms but now here she was.

The vampire furrowed her brows as she noticed she wasn't alone, easing up slightly when she realised it was her best friend but something was off.

"Lydia?" But she didn't get a response, the strawberry blonde was in a daze as she walked towards the school, Sage didn't hesitate to follow her— this must have been one of her Banshee moments, she had yet to witness them for herself but the vampire still didn't understand why she was here or even how she got here.

The blonde steps had halted once she smelt what was in the air, it was still fresh like the kill only happened minutes ago. Meaning the Darach could still be here.

Being on high alert the vampire moved beside her friend who had stopped a couple inches away from the body, confused the strawberry blonde looked around noticing she was outside in the cold and not at home warm in her bed.

"For fuck sake!"

"Hey--" The banshee jumped, "It's fine okay, I know you hate finding these bodies Lydia but it's okay. You haven't seen it yet." Sage tried to comfort the girl, she knew how much the Martin girl hated stumbling upon these bodies, not knowing why she was and it killed Sage that she couldn't tell her but Lydia needed to find out for herself. No matter how hard it would be.

"I-- I just hate this." She whimpered in the arms of her guardian, Sage soothed the girl as she pulled out her phone sending a text to the person who would run a red light for her.

Tires burned and squeaked up the pavement, Scott racing from his bike just as Stiles jeeped roared into the parking lot. The Stilinski boy, still in his pyjamas looking frantic raced out of the jeep. "Where are they?" Stiles asked but before the teen wolf could reply a voice already called out to him.

The pair had jogged up to the vampire, the banshee and the hunter. Stiles, taking the blonde into his arms, his eyes unconsciously scanning her for any injuries.

"Stiles, I'm fine." Sage huffed, waving him off but Stiles was still frantic as ever.

"We went to bed together, how the hell did I not hear you get up?"

"Babe I don't know but it's the same thing that happened at the pool with Lydia, and what happened out in the woods with me. You always told me to tell you first if there's a dead body."

Stiles' eyes widened at his girlfriend's response, "You found a dead body?" Stiles asked and Lydia shook her head, "Not yet." She said making Stiles look at her crazy."Not yet?" What do you mean, not yet? Lydia, you're supposed to call us after you guys find the dead body." Stiles said and Lydia scoffed.

"Babe, the body is here I can smell the blood and Lydia has given up on finding the dead bodies."

"Apart from you, how are we supposed to find the dead bodies, Lydia always ends up finding the dead bodies." Stiles ranted not realising how silent his best friend had been.

"Guys!" The teen wolf said making everyone turn to look at him, "I found the dead body." They all followed his line of sight to the Beacon Hills high school sign and on top of it laid a dead deputy, blood streaming down her face.

The news about the recent death had spread through Beacon Hills and the Sherrif's department was even more determined because they had killed one of their own leaving the McCall pack to think guardians—as in law enforcements were next to be sacrificed.
