Stiles had been staring into space for God knows how long, everything has been a haze since he found out Sage had been taken. He had no idea how he overlooked such a big thing, his girlfriend was literally a guardian and he didn't put the pieces together and he hated himself for it.
A part of him didn't want to stay here and wait for the police, he wanted to be out looking for her, he and Lydia were probably the only ones that could have a chance of finding her but someone needed to stay back and give an explanation to the police.
But that wasn't the only issue at hand, yeah his girlfriend and his dad were taken but so was Melissa, and put the cherry on top—Scott had gone with Deucalion.
The look on his bestfriends face was so heartbreaking and a little part of Stiles understood him, Scott had lost a little bit of hope and finding his mum and the sheriff would be hard enough so of course he thought Deucalion was the answer. Hell Stiles thought so too, he had thrown every logical thinking out of the window the minute he realised Sage was a sacrifice.
But what could Stiles do? He was just a human, and Peter's offer sounded more and more tempting every day. But that's not what he wanted, werewolves didn't live forever.
The Stilinski boy's head had snapped towards the hospital doors when he heard and saw the police sirens, he kept repeating the lie in his head over and over knowing it would be the fastest and best explanation he could give about tonight. But Stiles soon realised things would be much harder once he laid eyes on a certain FBI agent he thought he would never see again.

"The word is guardian, Allison- more than anyone, you know that's a role I haven't exactly lived up to lately," Chris Argent said as he led his daughter and the twitchy Stilinski boy into his office.
"But she took Scott's mother, Stiles' father and Sage. That's not a coincidence." Allison said as she looked over at the Stlinski boy, she refused to believe that Jennifer could get away with taking her best friend, Stiles couldn't afford to lose his dad and his girlfriend.
"Sage is a literal guardian, what I don't understand is why she would take Mellissa and Noah when she could have just taken her," Agrent said as he thought it over, Stiles furrowed his brows contemplating the older hunter's words. He was right in a sense, but Jennifer did need three for her sacrifice.
"Yeah, but someone put your name up in large block letters on the elevator door and that just screams warning to me." Stiles said causing the brunette female to nod, "I think it might be Morrell. She knows a lot more than she lets on, and she might even be trying to help us."
"Well, she needs to get on that a lot faster, okay? Seeing as how the lunar eclipse is less than two freaking nights away." Stiles stressed, he knew how much a celestial event was important for a sacrifice and they were running out of time.
