"Fuck where are you Stiles?" It had been two days since Sage had left the hospital in search for her boyfriend but she couldn't find him, with the power surge going on there had been some accident at the hospital and Isaac was injured. She knew it wasn't Stiles' fault, but he could be hiding if he thought it was.

"Sage, you haven't slept or eaten—"

"I can't Lyds, he's out there somewhere. How could I have fucking missed this, how could I have not known that he wasn't himself?"

"Sage this thing i-it's a trickster you know? And it tricked everyone but the biggest person to trick was you. You can't beat yourself up." Sage knew Lydia was trying to be rational but it didn't interest her, no matter how big of a trickster this thing was, Sage should have seen it coming. Stiles had been off for a while and she did feel it but she just never brought it up because she didn't expect it to be this big of a problem.

Lydia told Sage about the avalanche that was going off in her head during Stiles' MRI and how she thought it was linked to the nogitsune. The banshee knew that if she told Sage about the scream then the vampire would just worry more and she didn't need that.

"You haven't slept since you found him that night in the woods and I know you haven't eaten since then too."

The blonde tensed, looking at her best friend. "I don't need sleep--"

"Erm yes you do, I'm going to go get you some fresh blood bags because I know you haven't stocked up. I will be gone an hour and in that hour I would very much like you to rest Sage."

"But Stiles--"

"Stiles would be pissed if he knew you were losing sleep over him. And you won't be able to help find him without being at least semi-rested. I'm serious Sage." Lydia told her guardian firmly, Sage sighed at the strawberry blonde knowing she was right.

Sage huffed as she went upstairs, she heard Lydia drive off and as much as she wanted to curse the hell out of her, she knew she was right. The vampire looked at her phone to see a message from Allison telling her that she knew it wasn't Stiles' fault that Isaac was hurt and that she was going to see Peter to see if he could help find the human. Sage was glad that the huntress didn't hold it against Stiles.

"Sage."

The blonde stiffened, immediately looking up to see Stiles standing in front of her. "Stiles?" She breathed out in surprise and relief.

He smiled at her, a bit teary-eyed. "Hey." She immediately wrapped herself around him and he held her tightly. "Thank God you're okay."

"I'm okay, I promise."

Sage's brows furrowed as she heard the way he spoke to her, how steady his heartbeat and breathing was. The blonde didn't take a second before she pulled him off her before pinning him to the wall and hissing in his face.

A sinister smirk painted his lips as he watched the blonde. "It's gonna be a bit hard to fool you know isn't it?"

"Where the hell is he?"

Void chuckled, "He's still here but his mind is too weak so that's why I'm here." The dark spirit tilted his head in curiosity as she watched her. "What gave me away though, I can't have them figuring me out yet."

Sage released her hold on him, not feeling right that she had Stiles like this-- even if it wasn't Stile's mind it was his body.

"I know Stiles, if he was him right now his heartbeat wouldn't be so calm." Sage took a step back as the spirit walked towards her, "Don't move."

"Or what? You wouldn't hurt me." He told her in a soft mocking tone which only intensified her glare, "No, you wouldn't hurt this body because it's the body of the guy you love, the body of your soulmate. If I get hurt, Stiles gets hurt."
