Things were different, the vampire knew it but she hoped that they would be a good different. She couldn't help but glance at her boyfriend as he drove them to school, his left hand clutched hers as they were both placed on her lap as his right hand was on the wheel, she was worried about the human. Especially as the nightmares haven't gotten any better.

She remembered the very first one he had and it was the night after they first slept together, she couldn't get the screams out of her head. Seeing him like that terrified her, she knew that sacrificing himself would have some after effects but she didn't think it would be this bad.

Stiles always told the vampire that he was fine but they both knew it was a lie, she could feel how anxious and scared he felt and it pained her that she couldn't do anything about it.

"Hey." Sage blinked, she furrowed her brows in realisation that they made it to school. She looked down at their joined hands before looking at her soulmate.

"Stop worrying about me, I promise it's not as bad as it seems."

"I can't help but worry Stiles—"

"I know." He cut her off softly before placing a gentle kiss on her lips. "But I'm sure it will pass okay, just don't stress okay?"

Sage smiled softly at the human while nodding her head but she knew that no matter what, she would always worry about the brunette in front of her.

The couple hoped out of the jeep, fingers intertwining together as they walked onto school grounds, however a weird morning just got weirder. Sage had thought she saw everything when it came to Scott McCall but seeing him currently running from his own shadow was a new one.

Sending her boyfriend a look of confusion, the couple quickly caught up with the new alpha.

"Hey, hey, you alright?" Stiles asked as he grasped onto the alpha's shoulder as he stared at him with concern. "You don't look all right, Scott."

Scott shook his head. "I'm okay."

"No, you're not." It suddenly came to mind that his best friend was going through the same thing as him. "It's happening to you too. You're seeing things, aren't you?"

Sage looked between the two, it made sense. But if the two of them were seeing things then that means—

"How'd you know?" Scott asked Stiles but before the human could answer, Lydia and Allison walked up to the trio, "Because it's happening to all three of you." The Banshee said making them all look at each other.

The five friends walked inside the school with the three recounting everything that's been happening to them since that sacrificial night. Lydia looked rather smug which as much as she would never admit it, made Sage giggle. "Well, well, look who's no longer the crazy one."
