"An axe murderer?" Kira repeated as she walked beside the alpha and the human, the brunette boy had rushed out of class to tell the couple about the murder that had occurred last night.
Stiles nodded. "A family murdering axe murderer."
Scott walked up to his locker. "I already heard about it."
"Wait. What?" Stiles looked at him in disbelief. "You did? How?"
"My mom called me. She knew we'd see it on the news."
"Perfect. Let's go."
"Whoa, whoa. We've got Econ in five minutes."
"All right." The human scoffed. "Did you forget the part about the family murdering axe murderer?"
Scott glanced at him. "Did you forget that your dad's the sheriff? They want us to stay out of it."
"Are you guys kidding me?" Stiles looked at the two who looked disinterested in getting involved. "There's a family murdering axe murderer and we're not going to do anything about it?"
Kira grimaced. "Maybe we should just let the adults handle it. And how do you know about it already?"
Stiles shrugged as he looked at the girl, "I just like to keep tabs on what goes on here."
"You mean you like to keep tabs on Sage?" Scott asked the human, Stiles rolled his eyes at his best friend's sarcasm. He was right though, ever since the nogitsune and Sage, he had been keeping more tabs on missing persons reports and bodies that had been found. Stiles didn't know why he was torturing himself like this, he guessed it was because ever since he couldn't feel her, he had to know what she was up to. And if listening to police scanners and looking up missing person reports were the way to do it then that's what he would do.
"Kira's right, it's not supernatural so let the adults handle it."
"So the two of you, just want to stay here, school, go to class." Stiles scrunched up his face at the thought, "Never heard anything so irresponsible in my life." He huffed as he turned to walk away.
"See you at tryouts?" Scott called to him causing the human to flap his arms about.

Lydia didn't even know why she was here, maybe she was being a supportive friend, Malia was off with Céleste so she was watching Stiles and Scott's tryouts with Kira. The young Banshee had a lot to deal with, the biggest being her guardian was MIA and she hadn't seen her since she left her alone with Void all those weeks ago.
Lydia hadn't seen or heard from the vampire, she didn't know what she expected to be honest. Sage had been playing this game and toying with the pack, first attacking Malia and then sleeping with Stiles. Lydia couldn't really fault the vampire for the last one, she and everyone else knew Stiles couldn't resist the blonde.
