Stiles had to admit, he had come up with a few plans in the past but this plan was for the books. Derek had been missing for a while and Lydia had a feeling that he was in Mexico and the best place to start was with the Calavera's.
Both he and Lydia sat down in a dark room filled with the hunters, Stiles could see this woman meant business-- he would never admit it out loud but she intimidated him more than the Argents ever could. The human couldn't help but stare at the fifty thousand he had previously placed on the table, they were hoping it was enough to buy the huntress but once she found out that a werewolf was brought into her home, her emotions shifted.
"My friends," She sighed, her Spanish accent strong. "I don't think you're aware of your poor timing. Do you know what the dark moon is?"
"The part of the lunar phase when the moon is least visible in the sky," The banshee answered her confidently. As much as Stiles was human and she did not know how to use her powers to defend herself, the hunters were still very armed which made her uncomfortable.
The older woman hummed. "But do you know its meaning?"
"Some people say it's a time of reflection." She paused, thinking about the loss they suffered. "Or grief."
"Grief and loss, mija," Araya uttered, "I wonder why, when you and your friends have suffered so much loss, you would risk it again for someone like Derek Hale." The huntress was confused, the group of children had lost someone dear to them, and they barely had time to grieve and yet here they were looking for the previous alpha.
Stiles thought of everything that they had been through, and as much as they lost, they still ended up winning "'Cause we don't like to lose."
The sound of cackling came from the radio in Severo's hand.
"Front door clear."
"South clear."
"North?" Severo demanded over the radio, but there was no response. Severo responded back in Spanish but again he got nothing until the radio came to life.
"Stiles." Scott said on the other side, "Take 10 off the table."
Listening to his friend, Stiles took the money off the table while the strawberry blonde beside him tried to hide her amusement once she saw the anger flash on the older woman's face. "Maybe you should just take the deal."
The huntress started to laugh which only seemed to make the two teens uneasy, "While I'm keen to follow the warning of a Banshee, I'm going to have to decline."
"Come on. Just give us Derek. You don't want him anyway! Haven't you noticed what a downer he is? No sense of humour, poor conversation list." Stiles said making Lydia in agreement, "Just, come on. Take the money.
