Oli plummeted towards the void, bracing himself for the respawn. He'd have to act fast unless he wanted his bed to get broken. He'd grab the loot from the generator, get one stone sword, and maybe some blocks. Easy. Two-three seconds max. The countdown reached zero.

Highkeyhateme disconnected

Oli stumbled forward, barely managing to catch himself. He was disoriented. His surroundings were unfamiliar, with no bridges or islands in sight.

Suddenly his armor cracked before starting to disintegrate. Oli recoiled out of instinct, attempting to shake the armor off of himself, but was unsuccessful. He could only watch as the metal slowly turned into dust around his arm.
A shaking hand brushed away the last pieces of dust.

He took a shaky breath.
"Guys? Where are we?"

No one answered.

"...guys?"

It was so quiet. They weren't talking.

A beep sounding from Oli's pocket broke the silence, making him jump.

He fished out a device. He turned it in his hand, suspicious of its nature. It looked almost exactly like a Nintendo. It emitted another beep.

Oli carefully opened the device and was greeted by a familiar sight.

A grin crept onto Oli's face. No matter how bad his new predicament turned out to be, at least he'd have them.

"There you guys are!"

Feeling a lot more at ease not being alone Oli finally took the time to study his surroundings.
There were walls on all sides, surrounding what seemed to be a single chunk. The blocks were sporadically placed, as if in a hurry, and the type of block varied from cobble to wood, to even netherrack. A few trees were growing inside the area.

Oli had a suspicion this was some sort of spawn. He reached towards one of the trees to pull off one of the fir needles, but as soon as he picked it off the tree it disappeared from his hand, finding its place back on the tree. The area was a protected spawn. He would not be able to tower up (not that he would even be able to mine blocks to tower up with). So he scanned the walls for an exit, which he eventually found. It wasn't more than a 1X2 hole in the cobble, but it was enough.

Oli escaped the chunk with little effort, now finding himself in a forest. There was a road a few blocks away, but otherwise, there was just a lot of forest.

"Guys, do you know where we are?" he asked, not really expecting them to know, but it didn't hurt to ask.

Most of the answers were as expected.

Oli froze. He'd obviously never been on Dream's server, but one of his friends had been there for a while, and had told him stories, described the places. Of course, servers change over time, and this did not match Tubbo's description of spawn, at least not exactly. He'd have to get to the main area to be sure.
