"Banished?" Eisa seethed.
"Yes," I replied, standing before my father and Eisa. After I managed to find the will to leave the observatory, Halle found me to escort me to my parents' chambers. I told them everything that happened after the coronation to Thor's exile.
"For how long?" Father asked calmly as Eisa paced the floor in dismay.
I shook my head. "I don't know, Father."
"You all never should've gone to Jotunheim," he sighed, rubbing his forehead. "Your friends and you are great warriors, but not great enough to take down Jotunheim. It was reckless of you to go."
"She should've never allowed Thor to disobey Allfather's wishes!" Eisa snapped. Her venomous eyes glared at me. "If you had any decency, you would've stopped Thor from doing something so foolish! You should've swayed him to stay away from Jotunheim, but instead, you join him!"
"I was supporting my fiancé," I stated.
"Look where he is now, Ravenna! He is banished from Asgard. Now, he will never be king and you will never be queen. What's the point of this engagement if he is banished?" Eisa looked at Father. "You must go to the Allfather and figure out the plan. Figure out if the banishment is temporary, if the engagement is canceled, or if the arrangement should still carry on. If it's over, then maybe she can marry-"
In my anger, I threw a vase against the wall using my telekinetic power, causing Eisa to shriek with fear. "Stop planning my life! It's despicable to hear you plan my life out in front of me as if I have no say in the matter!"
"We gave you a say and look what happened! You have no fiancé and nowhere near getting the title of queen."
"If you could've done better than me, why don't you become engaged to him then!"
"Eisa, Ravenna, enough!" My father stood up from his seat. "When the time is right, I will speak to Odin about the engagement. Until then, there is nothing more that can be done. I have known Odin for quite some time. He always has a plan. Though he might not admit it, I know he won't leave his son out in exile forever. Whatever lesson he plans to teach Thor while he's in exile, Thor must find the lesson and learn it himself."
"Yes, Father," I nodded. "If that is all, I wish to check on my friends in the healing room."
"You may leave," Father said, making me turn on my heel immediately before Eisa could say another word.
I walked to the healing room to check on the others. Entering the healing room, Sif stood up from her seat to hug me. "Loki told us everything. Are you alright?"
I nodded, "I should be asking all of you that question." I walked over to Volstagg to examine his arm. Hogun had just started rubbing the healing powder on Volstagg's wound. I moved to Fandral to see that he was already healed. "Looks like the two of you will live to fight another day."
I sat down in front of the fire pit, watching the flames dance. My eyes moved over to Loki to see him facing away from us as he examined his hand. I frowned, noticing that it was the same hand that the Frost Giant nearly touched.
Fandral shook his head in disbelief. "I can't believe he was banished. I never thought Odin would have that kind of willpower to send his own son away."
"We should never have let him go," Volstagg muttered.
"Perhaps my stepmother was right," I stood up, folding my arms across my chest. "She said I should've made him see reason instead of going with him. If I encouraged him to stay, found a reason, then maybe he wouldn't be banished."
Sif shook her head, "Ravenna, there was no stopping him."
"At least he's only banished, not dead," Fandral added. "Which is what we'd all be if that guard hadn't told Odin where we'd gone."
