In the darkest part of space, a large asteroid where a floating staircase moved along. The asteroid was in the center of an asteroid belt. A dark creature was speaking to a being that was sitting atop the floating staircase. I could not see who the being spoke to because the chair was facing away from the creature, but I was able to see the creature perfectly. The creature had a dark blue cloak with body armor made from unknown materials in shades of pale faded blue and gold. His skin was white with a grayish undertone as if the color of a corpse. The creature wore its hood up. Half of his face was covered by a cloth, only showing his mouth. I noticed that the creature was named The Other, the leader of the Chitauri.
The Other spoke in a voice that sent shivers down my spine. "The Tesseract has awakened. It is on a little world, a human world. They would wield its power, but our ally knows its workings as they never will. He is ready to lead. And our force, our Chitauri, will follow. The world will be his. The universe, yours. And the humans, what can they do but burn?"
The Other descended the staircase and made his way over to a Chitauri creature who guarded a scepter. The scepter was gold with a large blue diamond at the top with a sharp tip. The hooded creature walked over to a man who was facing away from him, staring off at his surroundings. From the black, green, and gold attire, I immediately knew who it was before he even turned around to face the hooded creature.
Loki.
I stopped searching through Frigga's mind so that I could hear her words. It was very rare for me to be able to read another's mind without physical touch. It was a difficult skill that Frigga had tried teaching me throughout the year. I believed not even Loki could do that. However, my breaths were hard as my stomach turned into knots from what I saw. Loki was alive. He was alive and bringing himself into more trouble.
"What?" Thor asked astonished.
Odin remained skeptical. "He fell into Yggdrasil itself, Frigga. Not even a god could survive going into such a powerful cosmic nebula. His body would've been scattered across the universe."
Thor stepped forward, "Mother, are you sure you saw this? Perhaps, what you felt was-"
"He is alive," Frigga insisted, cutting off Thor. She only looked at Odin. "He is planning something and it involves the tesseract."
Odin straightened at what Frigga said. His face became firm, knowing the severity of the situation. The tesseract was a powerful cosmic crystal cube that glowed a vibrant blue. A long time ago, the tesseract was inside Odin's vault where it was kept safe. Odin brought Thor and Loki to Midgard where they showed their abilities to the Norse. From there, the Norse worshiped them as deities. For some unknown reason, the tesseract was left on Earth. To this day, I wasn't sure if Odin left it there on purpose or by accident. For years, those who worshiped the Asgardians watched over the tesseract in a church where they worshiped the Asgardians. Ever since then, I haven't heard any news of the tesseract.
Until now.
"He has allies, the Other, the leader of the Chitauri army. The Other is a servant of someone powerful. He must be found." Frigga stepped forward. "He is far too clouded with ambition and vengeance."
Immediately, Odin stood up from his seat. "Thor, Ravenna, follow me."
We made our way to the Bifrost to see Heimdall. Odin demanded for Heimdall search for Loki so we could know his location. Heimdall's eyes glowed as he searched for the lost son. "I've found him on Earth," Heimdall announced.
"What?" Thor growled.
"And the mortals had the tesseract, but Loki has taken it from them," Heimdall added.
