Andy looked up from his desk as he watched Juliette enter the office on Monday, setting her stuff on her desk. He walked to her desk as she glanced up at him, "Ms. Price. Can I talk to you?"
Juliette nodded, knowing she couldn't say no to him at the office as she followed him. She closed his office door before her as he began to approach her. She put her arms up in front of her, "no! Sit at your desk, or I'm walking out of here."
Andy sighed, turning away from her to sit at his desk as he watched her sit across from him, "fine. I wasn't sure if you would come in or not."
She shrugged, "I need this internship for my resume. Are you going to fire me?"
Andy groaned, "no, of course I'm not going to. I know you need it. I'm sorry Jules. About everything. Please come back. I need you Jules."
Juliette looked at the ground, hesitating before looking back up at him, "you need me because your wife won't fuck you? Because that doesn't seem to be true from what I saw."
Andy shook his head, groaning as he stood up. He came around the desk, leaning back against it in front of her. "No. I told you, she tried, but I pushed her away. I don't want her Jules. I want you."
Juliette stood up from the chair, "I can't Andy, I'm sorry. It's easy when it's just you and me. But once we go outside you're going to see it was hopeless after all. Rewrite the stars. It's a song, look it up. Now unless you have work for me, I'm going back to my desk."
"Fine." Andy sighed, standing up straight as he grabbed a stack of files from his desk. He handed them to her, "bring them back when you're done?"
Juliette only smiled and nodded as she left his office.

As Juliette reached the end of the stack, they were all called for a meeting. She sighed, entering the conference room, sitting across from Andy as he watched her. Lynn, the DA, entered the room with a smile. "I promise it's nothing bad. I'm only here to remind you of the New Year's Eve Masquerade Ball for charity. Tickets are $250 and that includes dinner and music and champagne, open bar. All proceeds go to local shelters."
Juliette looks at Andy to see him watching her as Lynn dismissed them all. Juliette went to her desk, grabbing the stack of files and waited in Andy's office for him to return, sitting in the chair. She stood up when she saw him enter as he closed the door.
Andy smiled at Juliette, "Ms. Price. Done?"
She nodded, setting them on his desk as he sat down with a cup of coffee. She pulled out a paper, slamming it on top. "What is this?"
He grabbed the paper with a shrug, "must have gotten mixed up by accident."
Juliette rolled her eyes, "cut the shit Andy. Don't treat me like I'm stupid. Why would you add that into the pile?"
Andy sighed, "because I wanted you to see that I am serious Jules. I'm filing the divorce papers once they're done." He stood up, grabbing her before she could pull away this time. He gripped her waist, "I'm getting a divorce Jules. I want to be with you. I'm filing it within the week. Please."
"Oh Andy. Please don't make this harder than it already is. Even if you do get divorced, what's to stop people from talking?"
He groaned, resting his forehead against hers as he brought his hand up to her cheek, "Jules. I know you want me."
Juliette locked eyes with Andy, "I never tried to hide that. But it doesn't mean it will work out. I'm sorry Andy."
He watched her pull away, walking to the door, "wait. Are you going to go to the New Year's Eve party?"
She scoffed as she opened the door, "for $250 dollars? No way. I no longer have a paying job Andy. I can't afford to spend that much money on one night."
Andy sighed and nodded as he watched her leave.

"What was it like seeing him?"
Juliette looked up at Brie as she handed her food later that night, "difficult. But I need the internship. I need to find a job at night I guess."
Brie sighed, "why don't we find a two bedroom apartment Julie? So you don't have to sleep on the couch."
"Maybe. Let's wait until after the first of the year. I need to start applying to places."
Brie nodded, watching her friend pick at her food before setting it down. "Come on Julie, you've barely eaten. Do I need to call your brother?"
Juliette laughed, "I'm sure you'd love that."
Brie giggled, "your brother is hot Jules."
"Ugh." Juliette rolled her eyes, "don't be gross. What are we doing for Christmas?"
Brie shrugged, "I don't know. You could always come to my family's house. Is Peter coming down?"
"Maybe I'll see about going to New York for Christmas with Pete. I need to get away from Boston. Maybe I'll even check out some law firms while I'm there."
"What?!" Brie set her food on the table to look at Juliette, "you said you wanted to stay in Boston."
Juliette groaned, "yeah, I know. That was before I caught feelings for ADA Barber who I'll have to see everywhere. I just don't know if I can do it."
Brie shook her head, "no. Come on. Don't let a man run you out of town. You stand up to him and let him know he won't be affecting you. He isn't worth it Julie. Besides, you leave then Laurie wins. And we certainly don't want that."
Juliette laughed, "maybe not. He showed me the divorce paperwork today. He said he's filing it. We'll see though." She shrugged and went back to picking at her food in front of her as she tried to figure out her next move.
