Nothing

After Jack had shut down the device after a somewhat traumatizing experience he took out his notebook again to write new notes about the case only to find he had nothing to add or, in fact, nothing to write to begin. Jack had had his head in the skies thinking all about how wonderful it would be when he uncovered the case and not as often thinking about the most important thing: how? That was something that troubled him greatly; he didn't actually have anything to work on!

Yes of course there was what was happening but he didn't have evidence to support any of what he was saying. If Jack told the police at this point in time they would think he had gone cuckoo. He needed to find something and fast. His time was running out, who knew what the next day would bring.

Was now the time to investigate? Was it time to find out the truth once and for all? No, in fact, Jack was not even an inch closer to finding out the reason for all of this than he was when he began. Suddenly, a hand grabbed him and a black glove covered his mouth.

"Scream and everyone you have ever known dies!"

*So sorry about the shortness it was for suspense and a new chapter comes this evening.
