(Natasha's POV)
TW: drugs, guns
AN: I made up the gun type :)

"How's the import coming Romanoff?" my boss, crime boss Wanda Maximoff asks me.
"It's good boss, latest update says it's on time and what we asked for."
"Perfect, thank you. Update Laufeyson for me please."
"Of course, boss."

A few years ago, in my late teens, my parents passed away, which isn't horribly sad, it's not like they were exactly present in my life. But I still fell off the rails, because even though they weren't present, they still kept a roof over my head.

Not long later, I had gotten everything you do when your parents die, like the inheritance and that's when I had started looking for dealers.

I also dropped out of school, there was no reason to go anymore, my parents weren't here to force me to go. That was the one thing they cared about if not me, it was education.

When I had found some guy on a corner, I asked if he knew of a store that sold 'hammers' which meant I was looking for heroin.

"You're so young, looking for hammers."
I flashed my money, which seemed to shut him up.
"Ok, how much are you going for?"
"Few grams," I reply, stealthily showing him the money.
"Woah, how'd you get that," he nods his head toward my belt.
"Inheritance."
"Have a phone?"
"Yep, here" I hand it to him as he types a number in, I assume his.
"I'll text you here," he says, as I see he sent himself a text. "Time and place for tomorrow, that work?"
"Perfect," I reply, thanking him before I walk off.

Little did I know, I had just bought heroin from a runner in the Maximoff crime Organization.

And little did I know, I would become a regular customer.

And little did I know, bring a regular customer also meant that you worked your way up the ranks if you wanted to work for Wanda, under one condition.

You got sober.

"Hey Loki, shipment is on time and what we asked for."
"Perfect, thanks. Coming to that poker game next week?"
"Have I ever been known to miss one?"
"No,"
"That's what I thought," and with that, I walk away.

Loki's been with us for some time now, coming a little bit after I had into the Maximoff crime organization. Business was expanding, and we were looking for a few more runners. We had pretended to set up buys, and if they were good at what they did, running for whoever they ran for, we poached them over.

Besides being the major drug and guns supplier of New York, Wanda treats everyone in the organization very well. You bring a new customer, you get a nice bonus. You keep that customer? You get a 5% higher percentage of the money of the buy, which is a nice amount of money when it comes to our area of business.

Even if you're doing a run or pickup or anything that isn't a new customer, you're still given a generous cut. That's another reason why Wanda's the major supplier. Not only does she not get caught, everyone wants to work for her, knowing how well she treats her people.

Another thing Wanda makes sure to do is that while you technically have a title in the organization, such as runner, is that she doesn't call anyone her employees. She doesn't like that, being seen as below anyone else, so she makes sure she doesn't do that to others either.

While most drug suppliers would murder someone on the spot for being late, Wanda doesn't like leaving behind any blood if she can help it. So if a shipment is late, she'll charge the supplier extra. For example, if an import is 50 guns and it's late, the next import she wants is 40 guns, she'll get 45 for the same price, and it surprisingly works, people are rarely if ever late.
