(Natasha's POV)
----------------
Life has been great, I've been traveling around with the woman I love, and we don't have a care in the world. We've been visiting the places you see on peoples bucket list, we didn't really have one though. Most of the places we've visited came from the internet or peoples recommendations.People. People who don't know who we are. People who don't know what we've done. People who treat us just like they would anyone else. I won't lie, it's been nice living as if I was one of those people. Then again, it's also hard to act like one when I know what I've done.
"Wanna get something for lunch?" I look over at Marci, who's walking beside me down the strip.
"Sure, where do you wanna go?" she asks me.
"Let's try that place down there on the corner," I point to the other side of the street, where a lot of people are.
"That does look good, it has a lot of people."We walk towards the end of the street before joining a number of others in the crosswalk. Apparently a few people have the same idea as us, but we're the first to get through the door.
"Hi, how many?" the hostess asks us.
"Two," I say, as she grabs menus and leads us through the restaurant to a table meant for four. Both of us actually prefer that, you have more space."Your waitress will be right over."
"Thanks," we both reply, sitting next to each other. We both look over the menus, looking at the many choices. This place is more of a Mexican style, so I'm looking through the taco and burrito choices. The basic one looks pretty good, and I'll definitively be pegged a local by ordering it, but at least it's a guaranteed like.
A waitress walks up to our table, "What would you like to drink?"
"A margarita," I direct, wanting some liquid courage for what I'm about to do later.
"Same," Marci smiles towards her, as she smiles and walks off towards the bar to get our drinks.Plus, margaritas taste good and they also look pretty. So, I guess it's a win-win in a way. Well, we'll see, hopefully it works.
She soon comes back with our drinks, and take our orders. We both end up ordering tacos of some sort. We're more alike then we think. We have enough things in common that people would think we're soulmates. Not that I mind that.
"This is good, I'll say," Marci puts her margarita down after taking a sip, me nodding in agreement. People surround us, all enjoying their own conversations, people at the bar cheering at the TV's. This 'normal' life is honestly so much better than I thought it'd be. Compared to before, there are no worries. Just happiness.
"Want to go for a walk on the beach later?" I ask, hoping she says yes.
"We should, it's nice out," she says in agreement, allowing me to calm down a little inside. It's not long before our food arrives, and we eat in a nice silence, listening to all of the people around us and the music above.

"Have we got everything?" I ask Marci, looking around our hotel room to make sure we have everything we need for the beach.
"Looks like it," she confirms.I run off back to the bedroom real quick, digging through the closet, and grab my sweater. I also make sure that little box that'll change the rest of my life is in there.
"Forgot this," I motion to my sweater as Marci also grabs her jacket.
"Now let's go," she laughs a little, as we know for sure we have everything now.We walk out of the hotel and through the lobby, where there's beach access. There's not a lot of people, so that's nice. The waves are crashing into each other gently, the smell of the ocean wafting through the air.
Marci takes my hand in hers, and I lean into her, as we walk down the beach in silence. There's a few people walking their pets, and some with their headphones in. Marci and I, we just enjoy each other's company, and the soft sand below us.
Eventually, we sit down on a towel we brought, and the bottle of wine. We didn't feel like carrying more glass around with us, so we just sip it from the bottle.
After a while, the sun starts setting, so we head back to the hotel, watching the sunset as we go. Waiting for the perfect moment and trying to figure out what to say just might be the hardest thing.
As we're about to reach the steps to go from the beach back up to the hotel, I realize this is my chance.
I don't do anything, I just stop walking, which makes Marci stop after it makes a little pull back.
"You ok?" she asks.
I smile.
"Just fine, actually," I start, knowing it's now or never. I hold her hands in mine.
"Time flies by, it feels like I've known you forever. Ever since I got into this, I had walls built up, unbreakable, no one even got close. But you somehow managed to break them. I don't know how, but I'm glad you did. You've shown me that there's a life where I'm genuinely happy, where I'm with someone who I love, and before you, that was all just some back burner dream. And some time, I made this realization that I don't want to spend another day, another second without you," I take a breath, trying not to let tears slip. I reach into my jacket, and Marci pulls back, her hands now over her mouth."Marci Hills," I begin, getting down on one knee, something I never thought I'd be doing. "Will you marry me?"
She lets out a little laugh, which sends me into panic mode.
"Shit, I shouldn't, I'm, too soon-" I begin rambling, but she cuts me off.
"Actually, we had the same idea," she pulls out a small box identical to mine, kneeling in front of me.
"I never thought I'd end up here, either. I was trying to not get close, because no relationship of mine has ever worked out. But it looks like that's changed," she smiles, me doing the same now.
"So?" I let out now, finally being able to breathe.
"Yes."
"Yes," I repeat the same, as we both stand up and slide the rings onto each other's fingers.I pull her into a kiss, which she gladly reciprocates.
"I was planning to propose there," she points up into right in front of the building. "But this was even better."
"I love you so so much," I tell her, holding her in my arms.
"I love you so so much more," she replies, and I know it's a losing battle. We head back inside the hotel, engaged, that no longer just a dream.—-
A/N: i decided to add a double proposal, it was gonna be only Nat. Your welcome. Idk if they said i love you either, so i added that also. thank me, i'm waiting.
