A/N: surprise POV! and it's my last day as a junior in hs!!!

(Wanda's POV)

Business has obviously been going well, especially since Marci joined us. She's even learning the ropes super quickly of how we run, going out on pickups and runs with Natasha. It's almost like she's been with us for years, not a matter of a few weeks.

Working with us full time can get to be a lot sometimes, even when it gets to be peak season. Traveling can get to be a lot, especially if you're not living here. Maybe Marci would like it better if she lived here. I mean, it would be easier for her, or maybe she's not ready for such a big move, I'm not sure if I would be.

How do I even bring this up? It can be a sensitive topic, it's not like I can just blurt out if she wants to move in. There has to be some kind of back-talk, or reasoning. I also don't want to worry her by asking her to come here,

I also don't want to raise any suspicion between anyone that's already here either, or make anyone think that she's moving in before she actually agrees, or doesn't herself.

Just gotta listen to what I told myself earlier, that sometimes in this business, you need to take a leap, not knowing where you may land.

Being in my office, I think over the options I have to bring this up. Since business is going super well, this would be better sooner than later. I don't want to lose her, she's too valuable. While this may sound like a strategic business move, it's also that everyone seems to enjoy having her around.

Natasha was always the type to keep to herself, kind of quiet, get the work done she needed to and that's it. I understand that, especially since her upbringing was not one that anyone would like to remember. But since Marci has been with us, she's brightened up, smiled more, been happier overall, hanging out with everyone, like she's a breath of fresh air.

"Yes?" I hear her voice over the line as I had called her.

"I have something I'd like to go over, that I'd think you'd like, if you can come over," I tell her, trying not to give it away.

"Sure, I'll be there soon," she instructs, before hanging up. Luckily, I didn't interrupt her or ruin any plans, at least to my knowledge. While I haven't known her for long, I know she'd put business before my silly request, business comes first to everyone.

Luckily, it so happens that everyone happens to be out, whether out on a run or somewhere else. Maybe I planned this out, just maybe. Sometimes, it's nice to have the place to myself. It's like I can think whatever I want to, say whatever I want to, do whatever I want to.

Sitting on the couch in the living room, I watch the TV, but I'm not really paying any attention to it. Instead, I'm just staring into it, letting the noise and images fade into what feels like the background. Watching the images blur from one to the other.

---

Not much time has passed when I look over at the clock, hearing the doorbell ring over the house. Marci must be here, great. I didn't think about how I would put any of it into wording, and now there's no more time.

"Hey, come in," I gesture, walking over to the couch after closing the door, guiding her to sit.

"Everyone's out I assume?" she questions, obviously having figured this is business related, and would be in my office.

I reassure her, knowing there's that little bit of nervousness there, "Yep, nothing bad though, all good, I promise." She visibly breathes, relaxing a little bit against the back of the couch.

"So, I thought, you're over here quite a lot," I begin, trying to word this out in my head before I mess something up.

"And you're full-time here, and every time you do something with us, you have to drive here, so just like what if you, stayed here?"
