(Maria's POV)

"You know this is dangerous, Hill, you don't have to-"

"Fury, I know I don't have to, I want to," I reply firmly, wanting to take the Maximoff crime organization down for good.

"Maria-"

"Katherine Elizabeth Bishop, again, I want to, do I have to get you guys a dictionary?"

"You know she's going to do this no matter what, right?" Pepper interjects, saving us all the pain of an argument.

"Thank you Pep!"

"Fine, ok. Everyone have a seat, we'll go over the mission," Fury directs us, while he turns on the projector.

"As we all know, this is organized crime leader Wanda Maximoff, who controls most organized crime in New York, anything from drugs to arms importing and dealing, but neither her or any of her people leaves evidence behind, therefore giving nothing to anyone to arrest with," Fury recaps, as a picture of her shows up on the screen.

As the picture goes smaller, another photo pops up next to hers connected to a line, a man's.

"Pietro Maximoff, brother to Wanda Maximoff. Based on what we know, not as involved in the business. Although, if sister is busy or somewhere else, he's like her temporary replacement. He has been rumored to tie up any loose ends if someone did a sloppy job, that did leave enough evidence to get arrested with."

"So that sets an example for everyone else as to what happens when you do a sloppy job and leave evidence, keeps 'em in line," Yelena says from across the table.

"Bingo Belova," Fury says as he continues, pulling up another picture on the screen, this time below the siblings.

"Natasha Romanoff, Maximoff's second-in-command, main connection for this mission. This is who you'll be getting close to, Hill."

"Why am I not getting close to either Maximoff?" I ask, taking a breath before continuing. "Isn't she the main person we're after?"

"Yes, she is, but Pietro isn't as connected so he may not have all the nit-pick details. And Wanda doesn't really stick her head out too much, you basically have to have a meeting with her to even see her. But Natasha, she sees her every day as second-in-command. Get close to her, pretend to be interested in the business, even propose an idea or two for expansion. It might take some time, but play the cards right, you'll have a meeting. From there, since you'll have had Romanoff's eye, you'll have Maximoff's. Since she trusts Romanoff, she'll hopefully over a shorter than expected time trust you, too. Become a business planner type of thing."

"And if Maximoff is rarely ever seen, how am I supposed to get close to Romanoff? I mean, she has to be pretty uptight about anything and everything, where she shows her face."

"She's out more often than Maximoff. Goes to high end bars for poker games with other members of the organization."

"No way anyone else is in the bar at the times of meets, though. Let alone who would just appear as another person playing. Getting in will be impossible."

"Maybe not, because of course there are going to be multiple security guards. You'll have a fake ID, and a fake history which we'll put into the system for when they check it out. There'll be a fairly long rap sheet in everything they love, drugs and guns, but never enough evidence to do anything."

"So they think she doesn't get caught, just like they like it," Clint speaks from the back of the round table.

"Yes, and when they deny her entry, she insists, which will make them a little unhappy. Hopefully on the inside someone will see or hear something, making someone come out and see what's going on."
