A/N: Here's an update! I'm so sorry about last week, but school's ending soon so hopefully I'll have more time to write resulting in longer chapters.
A/N 2: Writing this, I might go into another disappearing hole soon for a while, today my grandma couldn't get out of bed. With how bad it is, it won't be long. That's just how it is. It sucks.
(Natasha's POV)
Mark
Mark: Can I place an order
Me: Of course, what kind
Mark: Par 18, just 1
Me: 4,000s the price
Mark: PerfectLiking the last message, I go off to tell Natasha that we have our first Par 18 customer. Yes, we have Marci's customers, but I'm talking about one of our own. We told our customers the second the deal was in place about our new product, and they were all pleasantly surprised. Of course, you can't expect anything when adding a new product, especially in our business, people like what they like and don't usually deviate.
But in this case, that appears to be a little different.
"I was about to come find you," I pass Natasha heading to her office.
"Oh what is it?" she questions, stopping to talk to me.
"One of my customers purchased a Par 18, I didn't give him a time yet though."
"Ok, well, we get our first shipment for us tomorrow, so the day after works."I tell her thanks, and then walk back off to the 'living room'.
Mark
Me: Day after tomorrow I can drop it off
Mark: Sounds good, same drop off spot?
Me: Yes, hour earlier at 11 though so no one can be waiting for us
Mark: Completely understandableThe only reason why I agreed to the same drop off spot is that it's one of the more secluded ones, and we've already scoped it out when we started using it. It's also one of those with multiple routes to get there, so I can easily go a route I haven't before.
Also, no one picking up a purchase of this quality won't bring a car or some type of vehicle. Unlike little baggie purchases, these just don't magically fit in your pocket and these aren't what you want to carry out in the open. Someone would not only kill for one, a regular, law following citizen, would definitively call the police and we can't be risking that either.
Brining Marci on full time is already proving to be a good thing for us. As more customers possibly buy the Par 18's, that's more money for us, and it's not like we're struggling, but extra money is always nice to have. Especially when we can keep our prices down all though demand is up, because we have the funds to do so, unlike other suppliers.
Another reason why we're the major supplier across multiple specialities in New York. Our prices are not low, but they're not super high either, and that's what attracts our customers. Not to forget how we're discreet, and how we never get caught. If we were to get caught or charged with something, that would ruin our whole reputation.
She's one of us now, and while we may technically have 'titles', Marci doesn't have one, not to my knowledge, she's just a partner. Which is fine, but to what extent does that partnership go to? Does she know about the first shipment for us coming tomorrow? Does she know other's drop off schedules like the rest of us?
Is she keeping quiet because Wanda told her so? Or is it just because she's not sure if she should, or could, tell me.
Never in my life have I had trust issues, and I don't, I'm just questioning things more than I did. I guess it may just be the fact that looking back, Marci hasn't been with us that long, and she's already made an impact on all of us.
