Chapter 29 - The Garden, I do

Tianna's POV

Daniel's father was fuming at the mouth when he stumbled on us in the cabin.

He told us to get dress and meet him and his wife at front house.

"He's really upset" I said to Daniel.

"Don't say anything Tianna I will handle this" He said.

We got dressed and I helped Daniel to the front house where his mother and gather were waiting for us. Uncle Larry was standing to the side.

His mother didn't seemed as upset as the father was. He was walking back and forth, puffing on a cigarette and rubbing his head.

I looked at Daniel and he held my hand. She told us to take  seats.

"How long have this been going on?" He asked.

"Its been a while now sir. I was going to tell you but the accident happen" He said.

"I forbid this. It has to stop right now!" He shouted.

"Robert, calm down" Sandra Hyman said .

She helped him to take a seat, not that he needed the help but more liked forced him to.

"Now Daniel why didn't  just you come to your father and I about this? We could have advised you" She said.

She was more gentle. I felt safe with her.

"Because I knew you and father would not want me to see her and I just didn't want to let down my family. However here I am with her and I don't want it any other way" He said.

He held my hand tighter.

"Sandra do you hear this boy?" Mr. Hyman asked.

She used her hand to tell him to sit back down.

"I understand Daniel but you shouldn't have kept this from us. This is very dangerous what you two are doing" She said.

We were willing to take the risk.

"I am willing to take this risk for her" He said.

Oh lord hear my baby daddy.

"Tianna what do you get from being with my son and causing possible hurt to your family?" She asked.

First of all your son is blessed in every way miss. She nuh see her son?

"I'm protected and loved properly. That's all I need" I replied.

She looked at me from head to toe and then back to Daniel.

"I'm disappointed in you Daniel but I am proud for that you stood up for something you want." She said.

"Sandra don't encourage this foolishness. Tell them that what they are doing is wrong" He said.

"Robert please stop this. This is his life and he should be able to live it the way he wants" She said.

He got up and walked to the pool to avoid us.

"Mom this is not for fun. I take her seriously" I said

She look at me again and touched my face.

"You are very pretty girl and men like my son can be easily persuaded by a pretty girl like you" She said.

I knew what she meant. She was telling Daniel not to trust me.

"Mom just listen to me. I know you will understand more than dad. There are  alot of things going on right now and we are in the middle of everything"
