Holden stood next to Quinn as a few old Thundercalps were dropped on the piano, "where's Rachel?" Kurt asks, "not here yet" Puck put in, and Holden decided she was not going to try and decipher why Noah was so quick to answer.
"Perfect," Kurt began, "Glee Club stands on a delicate precipice. We have all felt the cold humiliation of a slushie in the face" Holden decided not to add her comment about how she hadn't.
Mason had made her a no go for anyone to humiliate or do anything against, due to his protectiveness and the fact he put Karofsky in the hospital the first time he made her uncomfortable...
...In Freshman year.
"But as of right now, our relative anonymity as a club shields us from more severe persecution-" Kurt said, "swirlies. Patriotic wedgies."
"What's a patriotic wedgie?" Mercedes asks and Holden shudders at the thought, "it's when they hoist you up the flag pole by your undies."
"Strangely, it did make me feel more American" Artie said and Holden looks at him in horror, "baby- no." She said and Artie sent her a soft smile, the glee club were used to her habit of pet names and knew that is was a sign she liked you. And all sent her smiles when she used one for them, it was a new high honour in the club- to receive a pet name from the blonde.
Before the conversation could continue, Holden began feeling slightly light-headed. She lent into Mike who was stood on the opposite side, and he immediately placed a arm around her. "Need air," she whispered and those in close proximity heard her.
Quinn went wide eyed, she knew Holden was suffering slight dizziness during her pregnancy, "Mike take her out side please, and if you have something sugary could you give it to Holly?" She said and the taller boy nodded and began leading the twenty week pregnant girl out the choir room.
"Whoever is fastest at running, could you go tell Mason it's happening again. He's on the field," Quinn asks into the room and Matt ran out. Mason had asked to be informed of anything, and so the green eyed blonde was doing what was asked of her.
"What's wrong?" Finn asks, coming next to his girlfriend. Since he and Quinn began dating again he spent time at the Ray house and had grown close to Holden and thought of her as a sister in a way. "Nothing, Holly is just suffering a bit of dizziness it's not worrying and one of the less known effects of pregnancy. She just needs fresh air and something to up her blood sugar level. Continue Kurt," Quinn said as she lent into Finn.
Kurt nodded and continued talking about why the glee club getting a photo in the Thunderclap would be nothing short of a disaster. All those listening growing to agree with him after he finished.
Mason was the one to suggest to Holden to sit glee out for the week, they weren't exactly preparing for sectionals despite that being two weeks away. But she saw where he was coming from, since joining she hadn't taken the time to relax and so he paid to send her, Elara, Quinn and his mom on a spa trip.
Charlie had chipped in, seeing where his 'son' was coming from and wanting to treat his three best girls and it gave Holden the chance to talk to Aspen about her grandson despite her being around to watch him grow up being a unlikely thing.
The four enjoyed, and neither Quinn or Holden were to fussed about missing the mattress land commercial. They were told what it entailed from Finn, Mike, Niall and Matt as well as the others and knew bouncing on beds at twenty and twenty-two weeks pregnant probably would not have been best on their bladder or slight sickness they both still suffer from.
Though they both happily took the Glee club photo, with Holden standing next to Quinn with Niall next to her and Matt and Mike close by.
The two footballers were always close to Holden, and the fact they were good friends with Mason too meant they were keeping a watchful eye on Holden. To make sure she didn't over do things, and were found to always carry a extra Gatorade and snacks in their bag in case either Holden or Quinn needed a small boost.
