Holden held Asher to her chest as she approached the house, Quinn close by with Beth in her arms. The pair were kept in the hospital for a few days after the two births and were finally let out.
Since Asher- since being a mom- the sixteen year old felt her heart was so full. It was filled with love for her beautiful son, and a great appreciation for her family. Elara and Charlie had taken on being double grandparents on the same day, very well and were always there to offer help.
Mason, was truly a godsend. He rarely left the hospital, and was very ready to take a night feed. Luckily, Holden had expressed milk and so he was able to take the night feeds and have intimate bonding with Asher, in the same way as Holden when she breast fed their son.
Beth and Asher also had a clear bond, and if one was being fussy they would only really need to be in the presence of the other and they would be fine and the two girls found a love for one another, and an even better understanding of each other.
As Holden walked into her home she was blown away at the 'WELCOME HOME' banner for the two blondes and then the babies and the living room was filled with friends. The glee club had come together to celebrate their babies, and Holden was reminded of what Puck said at the set list nomination party. Her child had a whole range of aunts and uncles, in her friends and she couldn't be more grateful.
"Who?" She asks as Asher happily settled on Mason's chest as he took their son towards Aspen who was sat in her usual chair, who happily took her grandson in her arms and Holden's heart burst.
There was never a guarantee that Aspen would have seen or met Asher, and it was why they chose a name inspired by her but seeing her hold him, and look at him with so much love was a memory she would keep forever and she happily noted her mom taking photos.
"Me and Rachel," Kurt admitted and she bought everyone into hugs, and watched happily as her extended family all cooed at both her son and niece.
"They're both beautiful," Mercedes compliments, "what are their full names?" She asks interested as the club sat around with soft drinks, both babies having been put in bassinets which were bought downstairs and sleeping peacefully.
"Beth Taylor Puckerman," Quinn supplies, and Puck beams at his daughters name, "Asher Roman Harris-Ray" Mason supplies with Holden nodding in agreement.
