GLEE - THE SUE SYLVESTER SHUFFLE

Holden knew everything had gone to shit when the boys all piled into the family room of the Ray house after the football game, "well you all look like Asher has shat on you. What's up?" She asks kindly and passes Mason his son knowing that her best friend needed the comfort from their son at that moment.

"Karofsky made a comment about Glee club in a huddle, and has declared he won't block for either Finn or me in the championship game" Sam explains.

"I punched Karofsky," Noah admitted and Holden sent him a smile, that Puck preened under knowing if Holden approved of the hit he wasn't in the wrong.

He just hopes both Quinn and Rachel would see it the same way.

Holden approached Mike who was silent, knowing he was the angry silent type and if it was bothering him it must be bad and wrapped her arms around his waist resulting in Mike returning the hug and resting his chin on her head.

"Are you okay?" Holden murmurs softly to Mike looking up at him, Mike sent a soft smile in return kissing Holden's forehead "I am now."

The blonde blushed at that and turned around in Mike's arms so her back was against his chest, "I can't say everything will be alright, but I can say it isn't the end of the world and I'm here for all of you."

All the boys turned to Holden with smiles on their face, "has Ash had his bottle?" Mason asks Holden.

"I heated it up and it was too hot when you all got here, so why don't you give it to him and have him nap with you Mase. You look tired," she responds earning a happy smile from Mason at being able to nap with his son.

"Okay," Mason says grabbing the bottle and turning upstairs after kissing Holden's cheek. Holden got an idea and grabbed the small towel that is kept in the front room for feeding time, knowing there was one in every room but turned to Matt anyway "could you take this up for him? They'll be in Mason's room," she asks and Matt nodded taking the towel and making his way upstairs.

Holden smirked at the sight before adopting a too innocent look as she turned to the four left in the room "sneaky" was Puck's comment before he made his way up too Quinn's room.

"They like each other and need a little push," was Holden's justification when the three gave her further looks.

Finn shook his head in amusement, "I'm going home anyway. I'm taking Penny on a date," Finn said and Holden beamed happily knowing the two suited well.

"Have fun!" Was the called response as Finn left, "I am going home too I need to look after the twins" Sam said brining Holden in for a hug before leaving.

Holden turned to Mike with a soft smile, "movies?"

"Movies." Mike nodded in the affirmative.

Artie rolled into the choir room, absolutely drenched in slushee, "oh my god, Art." Holden said moving towards him.

"It was awful." Artie shivered. Holden took the towel extended by Mercedes as Rachel took one herself and both began trying to help their friend.

"That's it. Screw rehearsal. This ends here and now." Finn and the rest of the football boys began to walk out.

"Get Karofsky good, he's the one that made Kurtie feel so unsafe!" Holden called in encouragement but before the boys got out the door the football team walked in.

"So this is what the ladies lounge looks like?" Karofsky commented.

Mason saw Holden make her way towards Karofsky and went to her and bought her into a tight hug that instantly relaxed the irate blonde.

"This is the choir room. Now put up your fists because you and I are gonna do some dancing" Sam quipped. 

"Coach told us to come here. Where is she?" One of the players asked as Mason continued to murmur calming words towards Holden and pulled her towards the seats making it so he sat down with the blonde on his lap.

"Everyone have a seat." Coach Beiste demanded. They sat on the other end of the room, while all the glee members looked completely pissed. 

"Right, New Directions let's give a warm welcome to the newest members of glee club." Mr. Schue announced. 

"Are you kidding?!" Holden jumped up, "no. I won't have the person who made one of us transfer because he was scared of what may happen, in our room. The room that is supposed to be the safe place for all of us." She stated seriously glaring daggers at Karofsky as well as both Mr Schue and Coach Beiste for even suggesting it.

"I won't feel comfortable having the people that are homophobic be in the place that is supposed to be safe for us," Adrien argued.

"Honestly, I'm not sharing a room with these barely domesticated animals!" Rachel spat, with so much venom and both Puck and Quinn took a hand each to calm her.

"I don't disagree with you guys, but I talked with Coach Beiste and we both agreed that the kind of bullying that David does is born out of ignorance. Having him in here, as difficult as it may be for us, is an opportunity to show him and the rest of the guys that being in glee club is kind of cool." Mr. Schue told us. 

"David can fuck off," Holden said firmly. "The others fine I understand. But David caused Kurt to transfer out of fear of his safety, Addy has said he won't feel comfortable having the biggest homophobe in here. So the others can stay, get rid of Karofsky or I will not be attending Glee for the rest of the time he is in this choir room."

Holden moved to stand towards the door, and every other Glee member joined her. Mason even moved to stand with them all, "you either lose one homophobic asshole and keep everyone else or you lose the Glee club."

Coach Beiste nodded in understanding, "I get where you are coming from Pumpkin and if you will feel more comfortable without him present he'll be excused and won't play in the championship game."

"Guys," Mr Schue began "we need to show him what Glee club is about."

"No you want to show him, to feel some sort of backhanded accomplishment. Everyone in the Glee club is willing to walk if you insist on keeping a homophobic bully in our safe place." Rachel says, "Coach Beiste has said she understands our stand and if she can you should be able to too" Quinn continues.

"Are you okay honey?" Holden asks Quinn, "I know Coach Sue has given the cheerleaders a ultimatum about either being a part of Regionals or the half-time show" she said.

"I love cheerleading but if Sue is willing to do this just to have a tally against her name in the dumb rivalry she has with Mr Schue, then I know what my choice is."

Holden smiled at that, "that's my girl" she said warmly. "Britt and Sannie?" She asks, "half-time show. Sue was willing to put Britt in a unsafe canon, Santana is trying to figure out how to make Sue pay for putting her girlfriend in harms way."

"Well, there's three cheerleaders. Us glee girls were talking about becoming cheerleaders for the night. Um, there's enough players if Adrien and Nick play and both are surprisingly good at Football."

"I'm glad it's not ruined for the boys," Quinn comments and Holden hummed in agreement.

"Aunt Camille said she'll look after Asher and Beth for the night, mom and dad want to watch the game and us as well as aunt Mary, uncle Dwight, uncle Nik and then Seb and Sky. The twins will be going to aunt Camille as well as Sara because Bonnie wants to watch Noah play."

"A entire family outing," Quinn says with a laugh that Holden returned.
