Saturday 9:03 a.m.
Lily shakes Remus awake early in the morning. "Remus, get up! You have a date today! Brunch! Water park! Remember?"
"I don't wanna."
"Remus."
"Lily."
"Fine, I'll be right back."
Remus groans and pulls the blanket over his head, knowing nothing good is to come.
"Remus! Rem-rem! Remmy! You have a date!"
"Why do you always tell my mom on me?" Remus groans.
"Remus, as your father, I demand you to get out of bed and get ready."
"My dad too? Why can't you be strict parents that don't let me do anything?"
"Because we love you. Now get up. You need to look your best," Mrs. Lupin says excitedly pulling her son out of bed.
He lands on the floor with a loud thump. "Ow."
"You're not going to get any Sirius kisses with that attitude," Lily tisks.
"Sirius isn't going to 'give me kisses'. He's too punk rock for that."
"Remus I almost forgot to tell you!" Lily drops herself down to the ground. "He has a leather jacket."
"Jesus fucking Christ."
"And eyeliner, and fingernail polish, and skinny jeans."
"Okay, I'm getting up."
Mr. Lupin slaps him on the back. "Go get some dick, son."
Mrs. Lupin pulls her son in a hug, ruffles his hair, and pulls her husband out the room.
"I hate you, Lily, I really do."
"You pack your water park bag, and I'm picking out your outfit."
"Oh shit."
"What?"
"I only have floral swim bottoms."
"Ha. Gay."
"Lily."
"Remus."
He groans and starts shoving the essentials in his bag: sunblock, swim trunks, his round sunglasses, and regretfully, his sunflower towel.
"How much gayer can you be?" Lily asks when she sees it.
"Shut up. What am I wearing?"
She tosses him a floral shirt -yes, he is aware of how much he likes floral- and jeans.
"I accept the outfit."
9:12 a.m.
"Sirius, for Christ's sake, you look fine," James snaps annoyed pulling on his own shirt.
"But I look punk, right? I told him I'm punk."
"Yes, you look punk, except I don't know how punk those floral sunglasses are."
"Shut up. They're punk when I wear them. Who all is going to be there anyway?"
"Remus, Lily, Alice, Peter, and Frank," James replies. "How's my hair?"
"A mess."
"Great, let's go." James snatches his keys off the dresser, and the two are out the door.
The drive only takes ten minutes, but it feels like an eternity for Sirius. His leg bounces nervously. However, when they do finally get there, Sirius is too scared to pull himself out his seat.
