"What the fuck do you mean they fucking took her?!" I yelled into my phone in the middle of the warehouse. Mateo, Santiago, and I were meeting with Alejandro again to get out our first shipments to Chicago and L.A. without any mishaps, especially after how he acted yesterday. I was gripping my phone so tight I could hear it slightly crackle under my ear, Emiliano was talking but all I could hear was the street name he was on and I was off. Teo and Santiago were behind me and I jumped into the driver's seat with them in tow.

"What happened?!" I heard San yell from the side of me, I huffed and started driving. I wasn't mad at him, but the thought of someone taking my girl had me infuriated. "He took them, he took her," I cared about Aurora like she was my blood sister but my Génesis had not only become a piece of my heart but my entire heart, and I needed to get her back before that sadistic son of a bitch tried anything. That is if she didn't figure out a way to kill him first.

"The fuck happened?!" Teo spoke up after a moment of processing, his and Rora's love for one another was evident since day one. It was shocking because neither of them was the relationship type. "All Emiliano said was a truck came out of nowhere, he passed out and when he woke up they were both gone. The security details were killed on site." It was a good thing San and basically me now owned the city and the police otherwise De León could've caused a fucking mess for us all, not as big a mess I was about to make to find him though.

I was pushing at least 110 mph to get to the street we're already downtown because the meeting was supposed to be quick and we'd make our way to the airport. When we got there I saw Emiliano holding gauze to his head, while simultaneously barking orders at the officers. We ran up to him and for an older man I didn't know Santiago had it in him to run that fast, "I don't give a fuck about the rest of the civilians, lock down the fucking city and go into every house, building, and apartment if you have to. Find them!" Emiliano was saying to the chief and he saw us standing there as if he was seeking permission, we nodded in unison and he spoke into his walkie, making sure every officer in the city knew what to do.

"Boss-," Emiliano started but I cut him off immediately none of this was on him I know if he was awake we wouldn't be having this conversation. "Don't. I trust you with my life and hers, just help me get them back." He nodded and walked us through what happened, when we approached the car I could see her phone buzzing, towards the front and I was hit with a whole new wave of emotions. I was sad because I knew she would've been reaching for her phone to call me, but it was too far out of her reach. Then a new wave of anger washed over me and I clenched my fist so tight I could've drawn blood from my hands with how far my nails were digging into my hand. I felt Teo place his hand on my shoulder and I relaxed some, I had to keep it together if we were going to have any chance of finding them before something unimaginable happened.

Emiliano started to grab the girl's belongings from the truck for it to be towed and I convinced him to let a medic check his head out. While we waited for him, the three of us started to figure out what to do next. "You two stay here and see if you can find anything that'll help us, those tontos are sloppy. They're bound to have left something behind, I'm going to go get Ramon and we'll drive around and see if we can find out anything. Call if you hear or figure out anything, understood?" Santiago finished pointing between the two of us, he was bright red and veins were protruding out of his neck and forehead. Teo and I both agreed and he stormed off making calls on his phone.

All he wanted was for his daughters to be safe and while we're so close to being out of the city, something goes wrong like we can't catch a fucking break. The ball, the wedding, and now this. It was the last thing either of them deserved, yet here we were and I swear on my life I'd make De León pay for every minute of it.
