SHE WAS completely ignoring him on their home. "Babe."

He called her many times but no answer. Balik na naman siya sa dati na para siyang hangin na hindi nito nakikita.

"Babe?" Still no answer.

Hindi narin natuloy ang plano nilang mag-yoga dahil ayaw nito. Hanggang sa alas singko ay hindi parin siya nito pinapansin at nakatutok lamang ang mga mata sa laptop nitong nakaplay ang baby video. "That's the problem Dad. She won't go out." Napa-buntong hininga siya.

"Why?"

"She's mad."

"Na naman? Let me talk to her." He press the loud speaker button and then put the phone in front of his fiance.

"Princess, anak?"

"Yes? When are you going home?" Her lips pouted adorably.

"What are you doing?" Sa halip ay tanong ni Ale sa anak.

"I'm busy." She answered and put a little slice of watermelon on her mouth.

"Busy with what?"

"Eating."

Narinig niya tumawa ito. "Oh?" Naiimahe niyang napapahaplos ang matanda sa ulo.

"Yeah. When are you going home?"

"Iyon na nga anak pwede mo bang samahan si Zues na sunduin kami? Nagkaproblema kasi ang sasakyan namin ng Mama mo saka si Tatang mo naman eh, nagka-emergency kasama ang Nanang mo."

"Oh?"

"Pwede ba, anak? Hindi ka naman pwedeng iwan diyan ni Zues baka mapa'no ka." Patuloy na pangngumbinsi nito.

"Okay." Tahimik siyang napatalon at napasuntok sa hangin. He was celebrating behind her back. "Yes!"

"Let's go Babe. Baka gutom na rin sila." He help her stand up. When he was about to guide her to his car, she suddenly stop and grab the tupperware with full of slice fruits. Then handed it on him. "Bring this one."

Natawa siya saka pinanuod ang kasintahan na nagpatiuna sa paglabas. Agad niya itong sinundan at inalalayan itong sumakay.

While he was driving. Candle Shield is still eating, but minutes later, she was already snoring. Natawa siya. It's a good thing she slept dahil baka magalit ito kapag napansing ibang daan ang tinatahak nila. It made his work run smooth and effective.
