🌼💝Valentines Day💝🌼(Kam)

A/N: It's a few days late but who gives a shit. They're not dating yet in this one. The next one I write will be about a ship already dating though, promise!

Tam stood outside the doors to the cafeteria. The box in his bag seemed to weigh a hundred kilos.

A/N: I am Australian, no way in hell am I saying pounds and shit.

Today seems normal to %99.9 of Foxfire prodigies. But not to his group. This is all Sophie's fault, Tam thought to himself. In a way, it was.

Sophie had been introducing human culture and stuff to the group for ages now. Including random, seemingly pointless holidays.

"That sounds like an elaborate scam." Tam has said when Sophie explained. It sort of was. But despite that, Tam had a box in his bag. A box for a certain blond empath.

But now that push had come to shove, and it was February 14th, Tam was very close to chickening our.

He had been openly gay for ages, it wasn't the issue of maybe outing himself. Tam knew Keefe was bi, but that didn't mean his feelings would be returned. 

It's a freaking box of chocolates, I can say it's platonic! Tam said. He was so engaged in worrying about what could happen that he didn't notice the guy standing behind him.

"Bangs boy, are you done contemplating the universe and ready to eat?" Keefe asked from behind him. Tam jumped.

"Don't do that!" He hissed. The other boy shrugged, grinning.

Tam rolled his eyes and followed Keefe I got eh cafeteria.

Keefe was stressed. "That sounds like an elaborate scam." Tam had said the other day. How would the angsty shade react if Keefe gave him the chocolate currently hidden in his locker? Probably not well.

I'm gonna get rejected! Keefe internally stressed.

If Sophie could see the situation unfolding, she sure didn't help. Or rather did, in her own way.

"So, does anyone have a Valentine?!" She asked, theatrically. Both Keefe and Tam blushed and shook their heads, confirming her suspicions.

"I do." Dex mumbled. 

"Who?" Five voices yelled.

Dex pointed to Biana, who nodded. 

"I gave him chocolate to!" She said. Everyone smiled, even Tam. 

"Whoa, that must have been a very shipped pairing if you guys just made Bangs boy smile." Keefe claimed. Tam scowled, but Keefe don't miss his blush.

"Anyone else?" Fitz asked. He'd given Sophie something, and vice versa, but they had also been dating for a year, so it wasn't a big deal.

"Um maybe?" Keefe said.

"None of your business." Tam said.

Sophie grinned. Linh giggled.

"Well, I'll take both of that as a yes, You guys should hurry up though, itd probably be best to give it before lunch." Sophie told them.

Keefe stood up. "I need it get something completely unrelated to this conversation." He said, blushing slightly. The others laughed, and Keefe walked out of the cafeteria. 

Tam watched the empathy go. He stood up once Keefe had left. "I have shade training right now." He lied. everyone saw through it, smirked, and laughed.

Tam flushed and left the cafeteria.

Keefe meanwhile, had just grabbed the bow from his locker. It was a small box a dark chocolate. 

A/N: I feel like Tam would eat dark chocolate but not really like much chocolate. Keefe on the other hand, will eat any type of chocolate.

He started walking back towards the cafeteria when he saw Tam approaching. The atrium was empty, everyone was at lunch.

Tam walked past Keefe to his locker. 

"Do you have a Valentine to?" Keefe asked. 

"Maybe." Tam blushed as he pulled out the chocolate from his bag.

"Here." He thrust the box in Keefe's direction, not facing the empath.

"You're- you're giving it to me!!" Keefe asked.

Tam nodded. "Just take it already."

Keefe took the chocolate, very surprised.

"Oh, right!" Keefe exclaimed, remembering the chocolate in his other hand. "I have some for you to!" Tam looked up as Keefe held out the chocolate.

He stared at it, not quite believing what he was seeing.

"Just take it." Keefe quoted the shade's earlier words. Tam took the box from Keefe.

"Oh, thanks. You got my favourite type." They both said at once, upon inspecting the label.

They both looked the other in the eh, blushed, and burst out laughing.

A/N: Short and sweet 

Now, KOTLC characters favourite chocolate/candy bc it's Valentine's Day. Or it was two days ago. 🤷

Keefe: Any, but his favourite types are the wild/random ones, like marvellous creations.

Tam: Hates most types. Exclusively eats dark chocolate, he doesn't like sugar.

Sophie: Milk chocolate and crunchies. Also like any types of candy, but especially Reese's bc I headcannon that she ate them a lot as a kid.

Fitz: Mint flavoured stuff. Doesn't have major sweet tooth, but he will steal all of your gummy bears.

Dex: What doesn't he love? Elwin probably is on speed dial for this kids cavities. Anything rainbow bc it's fun, but gobstoppers and sour stuff are his absolute favourite.

Biana: m&ms and milk chocolate. She thinks white chocolate is a time bc it's not actual chocolate. She will fight you for the last skittle.

Marella: Gum. Girl blows bubbles constantly. Sour candy and sherbet are the way to her heart.

Linh: White chocolate. Eat her gummy bears and she will turn evil. Doesn't like sour stuff.
