A/N: 1.4K!!!!!!!!! Literally how?! We are number 320 in KOTLC!! Damn!

Okay so, another AU. Dex and Biana have never met. They're humans I guess.

Princess Biana walked through the village. Normally, her parents didn't like her going out alone into the kingdoms vast lands, but she was almost an adult, she could take care of herself.

Biana always loved walking through the small towns that made up the kingdom of Everglen. It was nice to talk to the people, and learn about what they had learned.

Now, Biana prided herself on being aware of her surroundings, and normally? She was. But Biana failed to notice the net until she stepped onto the tripwire.

"Wha- Arrghhhh!" She screamed as the net flew up, her trapped inside.

When she stopped screaming, she saw that's he wasn't very high up. A few meters, max. However, it was still high enough for her to be mildy scared.

She had crossed from the village into the woods without realising, and now she was in the forest, in a net.

Biana, having being raised as a lady, never used crass swear words. But she was very tempted to in that moment.

Why did I step on that? She asked herself. That was stupid.

Her crown, which she hadn't even wanted to wear today, slipped down over her brow. There wasn't much room to move in the net. Biana could already tell that the fabric of the dress was torn.

She tried to move to feel her pockets, but nothing came of her efforts but a nearly dislocated shoulder. When she finally reached her pockets, she realised to her horror that her dagger was on the forest floor.

I hope whoever set this trap returns soon! Biana thought, beginning to panic slightly.

Who knows how long she might be stuck here for?

An hour passed, and no-one came.

Biana decided to cry for help again. "HELP!" She screamed, her voice hoarse.

She wasn't expecting anyone to hear her, so she was utterly surprised when  boy walked into view.

He dropped the firewood he was carrying and ran over to the net.

"Sorry! My net must have malfunctioned and caught a human again, instead of a bear!" The boy called, more to himself then to Biana.

"I'll get you down in  a second!" The boy yelled.

Biana breathed a sigh of relief when he found the rope the net was attached to and gently begin to lower it.

She squeezed her eyes tight until she touched solid ground. The net opened around her. She sat up, and adjusted her crown, which had slipped ove tone eye.

"Oh my, you- you're Princess Biana!" The boy dropped into a hasty bow.

"Calm down. If I was the  type of royal to care about bowing, then I'm pretty sure you would be halfway to the gallows right now." She told him.

The boy stiffened. When he realised she was joking, he relaxed.

"What's your name?" Biana asked.

"I- I'm Dex. Um, Dex Dizznee." The boy said, his strawberry blond hair was messy.

"Well then, Dex, why was there a net here?" Biana asked, curious.

"Oh! That's because I was trying to catch a bear. My father said that's dumb, but I figured I should try." Dex grinned.

Biana laughed. "Well, it's a sturdy net, I'll say that!"

Dex gave a sheepish grin. "I am so sorry, your highness." He said, not a hint of irony in his tone.
