Man Vs. Wolf

Anika was in the house knitting as usual and Lucka was out hunting for rabbits in the deep parts of the Black Forest. He was in the mood for some thumpers, but Anika just stuck with her veggies and fruits.

The wolves were hunting for just about anything they could come across; they came across a rabbit. All three of the wolves crouched low.

“This one is yours son,“ Lycon said.
“Really?!” Lucian exclaimed. “It’s kinda small if you ask me.”
“Well, we didn’t ask you, boy!” Lycon growled.
“Lucian, we believe you are ready to catch your own food,” Lykina declared.
“Remember, my boy, in a normal pack, if you miss your kill (your prey) then you are no longer the alpha wolf.”
“Shit. No pressure, father, I guess,” Lucian said sarcastically. They all chuckled.

Lucian crouched low and moved a bit closer to the rabbit. In the meantime, Lucka was on the other side of the forest staring at the same rabbit Lucian was eyeing. Lucka not only saw the rabbit, but the pup as well. Once Lucian got close enough to pounce on the rabbit, he leaped onto the thumper and snapped its neck. Lycon and Lykina saw him as he was walking towards them with his kill.

Lycon and Lykina screamed, “Lucian!!! Run!!!”

Lycon darted towards his son, but he was too late; Lucka had already slammed the ax into the pup’s little body; in Lucian’s final moments he whimpered from the pain. Lucian’s body was lifeless when Lucka threw his body across his shoulder; Lykina was in shock and then she became enraged; she sprinted so fast to her alpha to help kill the murderer.

In the meantime, Lycon and Lucka were brawling; Lycon slashed Luka’s arms, legs, back, and neck. There were even slashes on his eye. However, Lucka got the best of the vicious, red-seeing wolf and slashed his stomach horizontally and left him bleeding out in the grass.

By the time Lykina met up with Lycon, she saw that he was lying against a tree unconscious and bleeding from his stomach. She laid down next to him, whimpering over his body, and howling in agony; she then came to realize that she must get her son’s body back from that low life human and kill him and anyone who would stand in her way!

Lucka was slowly dragging his mangled body and the dead pup’s body home. He was a few feet from the cabin and Anika opened the door and her face changed from being happy to petrified

“Oh my gosh!” “Lucka, what happened, are you alright!? Anika said with worry in her voice.
“Don’t worry, my love! I’m okay!” Lucka boastly stated

Lucka walked up to his beloved wife and dropped Lucian's body on the ground and he proceeded to kiss his beautiful wife, but before he managed to do that, Lykina leaped in from the side of Luka and wrapped her jaws around his neck, sinking her teeth into his veins. Using her momentum, she was able to throw his big, bulky body to the ground; in the process, she ripped his throat out, killing him instantly.

Lykina turned her attention to her son’s lifeless body and went to retrieve it, but Anika grabbed the shotgun her husband always had by the door and let off a couple of rounds to keep the female wolf at bay.

All while this was going on, Rose was at her cabin and she felt that something was wrong with the couple next door, so she packed her medicine kit and went to check on them. When she made it there, she saw all the carnage and immediately scurried to help Anika drag her husband into the cabin.

Simultaneously, the female wolf heard leaves rustling and she perked up, but then relaxed when she realized it was her lover; Lycon dragged himself from the tree which he laid all the way to where his mate and child were.

“Lycon? Oh my god! I thought you were dead!”
“Almost, my love. I just had to see you two one last time before I go.”
“No! I can’t lose you!” Lykina demanded. Lycon laid down next to his family and closed his eyes.

In the cabin, Rose was trying to calm Anika.

“You have to save him! Please! I can’t lose him! You’re supposed to be a doctor, right? Save him!”

In the moment, Rose had a flash of one of the wolves dying and Anika’s dead husband. Anika stopped screaming and grabbed Rose’s arm to snap her out of her trance.

“The baby is coming, Rose.”
