"Get ready Y/N." John passed you, loading up his pistol. "What do you mean, get ready?" You chased after him and looked at the men that were getting on their horses. Arthur was among those men and he had his eyes glued on you.

"Dutch wants you to join us on a train robbery." John walked with you over to the horses and you quickly pulled your shotgun from Arlo and swung it over your back. "A train robbery?" You hopped up onto Arlo and looked to Arthur.

"Yeah, don't ask me why Dutch wants us doing this right now when the law is already breathing down our necks." Arthur rolled his eyes as he looked over at the leader. "I'm just glad I can come along." You smiled as you led Arlo to stand next to Arthur's horse.

"Come on, we got her joining us again?" Micah groaned as he looked over at you. "Keep your mouth shut Micah and focus on yourself." Arthur snapped, earning a grin from Micah. "Whatever, just don't slow us down." Micah glared at you before returning to Dutch.

"Ignore that asshole." Arthur patted your shoulder as you slowly made your way into formation. "Alright, the train will be passing through town soon. Bill already set up the dynamite for us to stop the train. All y'all need to worry about is getting on that train and robbing it." Dutch raised his fists up as he led the group down the hill that surrounded the camp.

"It's not a passenger train?" You asked as you rode next to Arthur, keeping up in the formation. "Apparently Dutch got some tip that the train belongs to some oil man with a shit ton of money." Arthur sighed as the formation slowed down. You hadn't gone far from the camp, which seemed risky.

You all stood, watching over the hill down at the train tracks that ran through the plains. You looked around, spotting the dynamite sitting on the track. "This better work." You watched in the distance as the train started to approach you.

"Alright, get ready men!" Dutch yelled out as you all kept focused on the train. "Remember, stay with either me or John." Arthur looked at you as you made your way down the hill as the train approached the dynamite.

"Looks like it's gonna hit it! Quick Bill!" Dutch pointed to the man as he ran up to the dynamite, igniting it and running away from the tracks. You kept your ears covered as the train passed, getting close to the dynamite. When the front of the train hit the dynamite, there was a huge explosion.

The front of the train jumped up and landed lopsided on the tracks. It didn't take long for the men inside the train to start spilling out. "Get the loot boys!" Dutch yelled as he jumped off his horse. You jumped off Arlo and ran with Arthur and John towards the middle of the train.

Arthur led the way, hopping onto the area between the two cars. Arthur grabbed your hand and helped you onto the train, John right behind you. The shooting started and you pulled out your shotgun, holding it up as you crept around the train.

"Quick, there's some men in this car." Arthur pointed to the men ducking behind crates. You aimed your gun at the tops of the heads and as they poked their heads out, you took the shot. Clean shots to the head, Arthur making sure to get anyone that jumped up to shoot at you.

"Nice shooting." Arthur patted your head and pointed to the car behind you. "We should split up, Y/N you get the back of the train and John you take up the middle." Arthur looked at you with reassurance as you backed up. "Sounds good, I'll see y'all soon." You waved at the boys as you hurried to the end of the train.

You crouched down, moving swiftly down the middle of the train, keeping your gun at the ready. You came to a halt as you began to hear footsteps. From the sound of the footsteps, it sounded like there were multiple men.

You quickly hid behind a crate as the door to the train car swung open. "Keep your eyes open for those outlaws!" One man yelled as he rushed past you. You held your gun up, aiming it right at the back of the man's head.

You pulled the trigger, just as he began to open the door to the other part of the train. His body dropped and the gunshot alarmed the other men. "Shit!" Another man yelled as they began to scramble.

You peeked over the crate, spotting the three other men in the car with you. "Fuck." You muttered as you aimed at the biggest guy, shooting him right through the front of his skull. "There one is!" The remaining men took their places, shooting wildly at you. You did your best keeping the majority of your body behind the crate as you looked up to shoot.

You felt a piercing sting and then a burning sensation in your shoulder. You let out a gasp as you looked down at the area to see blood beginning to soak through your shirt. You tried to ignore the pain as you finished off the rest of the guys.

As soon as the other two men dropped dead, you dropped your gun, grabbing onto your shoulder. You applied pressure, but the blood didn't stop coming. "Jesus." You stood up, beginning to feel dizzy as you stumbled down the train car.

You looked along the shelves that lined the car, grabbing anything that seemed valuable. The pain was starting to get to you, unable to keep a good amount of pressure on the wound. Your knees began to feel weak and you collapsed onto the floor of the train.

Your hands laid by your side as you looked up at the ceiling of the train. "Y/N!" You heard your name being called and you saw a blurry image of Arthur running towards you, standing right above you.

You felt his arms go under you, picking you up, your head falling against his chest as he carried you in his arms. Your vision was going as the blood loss got to you. It didn't take long for you to pass out, seeing Arthur with a worried face as he rushed you out of the train.

Your consciousness came and went as you laid staring at the top of your tent. You could see the light from the lantern right beside you, but it was hard to make out anything else. Your vision slowly became less blurry and you were able to make out a second shadow in the room.

You slowly turned your head to get a view of the person sitting in the corner of your tent. It wasn't hard to recognize them from their silhouette, as well as their hat. "Arthur." You quietly called out and Arthur immediately jumped up, rushing towards the side of your cot.

"Thank God." Arthur pressed the back of his hand to your forehead, feeling around for any fever. "Ah shit." You moaned as you felt a sharp pain in your shoulder as you tried to move to your side. "Take it easy, you're lucky that bullet ain't hit any bone." Arthur gently rubbed your arm as he forced you to lay back down.

"How long have I been out?" You asked as you looked around the tent. There was no light coming from outside, so it was safe to assume it was night. "Don't worry, just a few hours." Arthur bent over you, placing his hand against your cheek. "Why'd you have to go and get shot?" Arthur grinned as he leaned in, placing a kiss on your lips.

"I didn't ask to be shot." You kissed him back and grabbed onto his hand before he slipped away. "Can you stay here for the night?" You looked up at him with a pleading face. "Of course, darling." Arthur stepped away and you let go of his hand. He slipped out of the tent, only soon to return with a couple of sheets in his hand.

You watched as he laid the sheets on the dry ground, laying himself down right beside your cot. "Goodnight Y/N." Arthur looked up at you as he took off his hat and threw it to the side. "Night Arthur."
