"So, you've requested a meeting with me." The mayor, a relatively big man, sat. "Why?"

Ladybug glanced up at him, then at Chat, "Don't give me that look Minou, I know she told you what I did." LB moved Chat Noire's face away.

"We'll talk about that later then, got it." Chat Noire cleared her throat. "We want an allowance."

The mayor jerked back, "What?"

"You heard the cat. We want and need an allowance." Ladybug uttered. "Not only have we taken time out of our already full schedules to save this city, day in and day out, we're putting our own lives at risk!"

Chat Noire crossed her arms, leaning back, "Ladybug..Have you ever been curious on..How long my power can last if if just.." She placed her hand on the desk. "Will it grow? Will it have a limit?"

"I don't know Chat..How about we just..Find out ourselves?" Ladybug glanced at her.

"What were those words of mine?~ Cat..A..~"

"Hey now-" The mayor cut in. "I-I get the allowance thing-- H-How much?-"

Ladybug smiled and clapped, "It depends on how much you're willing to give us! Chat? Give him an offer."

"$2,000 an akuma." Chat Noire said flatly.

"Yeah $2,000 or we do a half job." Ladybug nodded.

The mayor trembled, "Yes..Yes let's.. $2,000 an akuma..M..Mhm.."

Ladybug stood, helping Chat Noire up, "Great!~ Chat Noire how much for you?"

"Eh..My job's not worth much--"

"You deserve everything Minou." Ladybug lightly pinched her cheek. "Pick something, he'll have to comply anyways won't he?"

Chat Noire pondered the idea, "Oh oh! Can we get like-- O-Our own base?-"

Ladybug ooed, "That sounds great!" She looked to the mayor. "Is that possible?"

"Anything for you two-"

Chat's tail made a quick flick motion, "Can we plan-"

"Mhm-"

"Ladybug did you hear that sad agreement?" The heroine's tail began to wag furiously. "We can decorate how we'd like! I'd like a cat tree-- And my own room- And a place for my kwami to eat--"

Ladybug hushed her, "Minou, need a little patience there--"

"And a room for my girlfriend!! She needs only the best--"

"Chaton, you are the best." Ladybug hushed her again. "Now calm down, we need to find the right spot.."

"Construction will begin today, but we'll be finished in about three, four months give or take?" The man fixed his hard hat. "Can we get blueprints for your rooms sometime this week? We'll need to buy the materials and get the mayor's permission."

Ladybug nodded, opening her bugphone, looking at Chat Noire, "You know who Météo Dragon is right?"

Chat Noire shook her head, "No clue. Do you want me to ask Plagg?"

"Uh..He wouldn't know, I'll just ask him. Can you go to your place and get started on your own ideas? In about four hours get it to them and then go to your girlfriend."

Chat perked up, "Wait I can actually get her a room--"

"Of course. If you feel like your relationship will last, go ahead."

Chat Noire hummed happily, "I'll see you next time Ladybug!" Chat extended her baton. "But before I get home, I should go buy my girlfriend presents!"

Luz finished her blueprints, turned them in herself, wrapped Amity's presents, got dressed and went to her house. "Plagg, claws in." Chat ruffled her hair a bit, pulling out a canister of cheese. "Here."

Plagg snickered, taking the round container, spinning it around. Chat walked to Amity's balcony door, opening it up, "Mon amor?"

"Mm?" Amity looked up from the blanket she was crocheting.

"Presents!" Chat Noire held up the bags and box, grinning.

Amity smiled softly, placing her project down, getting up. "You don't have to get me presents Chat, you being mine is enough."

Scratching began at her door, the two looking over at it. Ghost slid in, trotting to Amity, mewing up at her, nuzzling her ankle. "I'd hate Ghost if she wasn't so dang cute--" Chat hissed quietly.

The kitten purred, scratching gently at Amity's foot, the greenette leaning down and picking her up. "Hello my little ghoul~"

"Murk~ Mew!~" Ghost cupped Amity's face, nuzzling her nose.

"I love you too my little Ghostie~" Amity held the cat in her arm like you would a baby, lightly pinching her nose and kissing her. "But I love Chat Noire more, so off you go, bother mom."

Amity put her down, Ghost being absolutely dumbfounded. She was traded out for a stupid stray?? "Mew!? Mew mew!?" Ghost hissed, scratching at Chat Noire.

"Hey! Bad cats get cones." Chat gently pushed her back with her foot. "I'll call Mrs. Blight, she'll be mad."

Ghost glared at her, hissing softly. "Mew."

"She says she'd like to see you test that theory." Plagg purred, gulping down the cheese.

Chat glanced at him, then at Ghost, "Maybe I will."

"Grrssth.." Ghost arched her back and hissed. "MEOWRRR--"

Plagg gasped, "I am no rat!"

Chat cleared her throat, placing the gifts down, "Let me just, get in to character.."

Amity giggled, "Ay Minou.."

"Mrs. Odalia~" Chat hummed, crouching down. "Ghost insulted Plagg~"

Silence, then footsteps quickly neared the room, Odalia barging in. "What-"

"She called me an ugly rat!!" Plagg yowled, pointing to Ghost.

Odalia rushed over, holding Plagg up, pressing him against her cheek, "Oh you poor kitten..I'm sorry she said that to you Plagg.." Odalia spoke softly. "Do you want cheese Plagg? I'd be happy to make you something to eat.."

The kwami hugged Odalia's cheek, faking a sniffle, "Nothing would make me happier.."

Odalia glared at Ghost as she left with the kwami, the kitten being even more dumbfounded. "Wait she feeds me!" Ghost scurried after Odalia, mewing at her.

Chat Noire paused, the looked at Amity, excited. "Mon Cherie~! Present time!!"

Amity laughed, hugging the cat, "Ah, I knew I loved you so much for a reason." Amity kissed her forehead. "I love you more than I love myself."

"Hey now," Chat Noire scooped Amity up, taking her to bed. "You can never love someone else more than you love yourself. You love me, a little less than you love yourself. And I love you, more than I love air, and that's a whole lot."

Amity giggled, placing kisses all over Chat's face, "Mm~ I looove you my perfect hero~"

"And I love you, my awesome, perfect, girlfriend~" Chat Noire purred. "Now, can you open your presents?"

Amity looked back at them, then at Chat, leaning back on the bed and pulling the cat over herself. "Later. Right now, we nap!"
