Sunday.

Luz woke up early in the morning, looking around her room before getting out of bed. It didn't take her long to get ready, she followed her five minute daily routine. Yet..It..It felt different..

Ah. It was quiet. The TV wasn't on, there were no giggles when people were being stupid, and there was no daily reminder of how much she was loved by a little black being and his dreams about cheese. Luz looked at herself in the mirror, taking in a shaky breath. "This is..For the better..Right..?"

She rubbed the area where her ring was meant to be, then her heart sank. 'What about Amity..?' Luz cursed, leaving the bathroom and going to her desk. "This is going to suck.."

When Luz was about to leave her room to meet up with Gorilla downstairs, Ladybug came to her window. "Hey Luz." Ladybug smiled. "Do you know if Chat's okay?"

"Chat?- Oh- Yeah she's fine, why what's up?" Luz felt the paper in her hands.

"Yesterday's akuma was pretty bad and I just wanted to check since you know her. I can't text or call her when she's not active, so you're my next bet." Ladybug looked around. "Nervous?"

Luz nodded slowly, holding out the paper, Ladybug hesitantly hopping down from the window, going over. "Chat gave me this last night..Wanted to give it to Amity but something came up.." Luz mumbled. "I didn't ask her about it, but it..It seems serious.."

Ladybug bit the inside of her cheek to keep herself from immediately thinking to the bad outcome, thanking Luz quietly. "She might be awake..I'll go give it to her..Thanks Luz." Ladybug tipped her head forward. "Be careful on your way, hm?"

"You as well Ladybug." Luz nodded, holding her arms. "Take care."

Ladybug latched her yo-yo to something outside and took off, heading back home. She landed in her room, detransforming, "What is it?" Tikki asked.

"I'm not sure.." Amity sat on her bed, opening the letter. "Dear Amity..

It feels awful to write this, and I'm truly sorry of how this makes you feel. But it's over. I'm sorry I'm too much of a coward to tell you this in person. I'm sorry of how this affects you. I'm sorry I can't be there for you. It's wrong of me to say I love you, but I do, and I hope you can forgive me when you're ready.

You'll probably figure out why I had to do this pretty soon. Don't trust them. Je t'aime mon cherie.

Amity lowered the note, looking to Tikki. "Amity.." Tikki mumbled. "Do you need a minute..?"

"M...ybe a f....w we..ks.." Amity smiled slightly before she whimpered and let out a choked cry. "Or months--"

Amity sobbed, pulling her knees up to her chest and crying. Tikki landed on her head, hushing her softly, stroking her hair. "It'll be okay..Everything will be okay..I promise.."

Luz went to the store with Gorilla and asked him to drop her off somewhere. He agreed, and waved at Luz as she exited the car. She took the bag, closing the door, waving at Gorilla before walking to the house. She knocked, and waited a minute before it was answered. "Hello." Odalia uttered.

"Hello Mrs.Blight..Did Amity tell you..?"

Odalia glanced away and nodded. "Are you here to comfort her.."

Luz nodded slowly, "I've brought her favorite and a coloring book to distract her for the time being.." Luz held up the bag.

Odalia stepped aside, "Come in.."

Luz walked in, hearing Gorilla drive off. The Latina walked upstairs, gently knocking on the open door. Ghost nudged it open, glaring at Luz before turning. "...Mew." Ghost purred, opening the door before rushing to the bed.

"Amity..?" Luz peeked in, stepping in to the room.

"You should've kept that letter Luz.." Amity mumbled, squeezing the plushie.

Luz closed the door, walking over to Amity, placing the bag down. "Tell me what happened..And I'll try my best to ease your pain. Okay?"

"..Okay.."

Luz managed to get her to stop crying. Luz also managed to get her to forget temporarily and stayed with her while she colored in the book. Then Luz went home the long way. Not before getting caught in the akuma, of course.

No no don't worry, it wasn't Amity. It was a postman. "What did I do to deserve this." Luz sighed, biting the paper.

The postman akuma poked her head, the Latina stopping her biting before continuing to rip up his letter hand. "Luz!" Ladybug exclaimed. "What did you do!?"

"I didn't do anything!!"

A yellow butterfly outline glowed on the akumas face as he stomped towards the post office. "You didn't. But he knows.." He growled. "He knows she cares.."

Ladybug frowned, "That's helpful.."

Luz squirmed a bit in the fist, sighing, "This is going to be gross.." Luz bit the stamp on the letter, and ripped it off. "Yuck!"

She kicked off the letters, grabbing the letters on the akuma, "Luz you idiot don't do anything!" Ladybug examined the area.

"Uh– My wellbeing was at stake! Do you want me to die?" Luz bit the paper again, sliding in to his sleeve.

"Luz what are you doing--"

The akuma stumbled back, crying out and grabbing their arm which then fell off. "I'm here I'm here--" The cat heroine landed by Ladybug. "What's going on what are we doing--"

Ladybug looked to her left, and scowled, "Where have you been." Ladybug uttered, crossing her arms.

"Busy.." Chat Noire muttered, pulling her baton out. "What do you need me to do?"

Ladybug pulled her yo-yo out, calling on her lucky charm. A plate. A plate?- The heck was she going to do with a dog looking pla– Oh. "Keep him busy. And don't let Luz die." Ladybug turned and took off.

Chat paused, looking to Luz, "Oh crud- Luz don't do that you'll die!!"

Luz was taken away from the akuma, and introduced to the new Chat Noire. "Vee." Luz blurted out when she was sat down on a bench.

Chat Noire flinched, her tail shooting up, "Wha- I'm not-"

"Sis, what the hell are you doing here?-" Luz stood. "You– Huh? I thought you were staying with–"

"I-I was-- Until I found this box in my bag and I thought it was food--" Chat Noire sighed. "Wasn't. Unfortunately.. But then this annoying cat tells me to let him go, but I wouldn't and he growled at me! A little paper came in my box and it told me to give it instructions and now it doesn't talk. Good thing I say, that kwami was a pin in my side since the start–"

Luz kicked her back, "Don't you dare talk about Plagg that way!" Luz hissed, pinning her down. "He is not your toy. Plagg is one of the nicest people I've ever known and if you're going to talk about him like that I'll rip that ring off your finger–" Luz gasped, a flapping sound circling her mind.

"Hello Luz Noceda..Are you ready to be my little devil?"
