"W..What..?" Ladybug slouched, her eyes widening.

"I talked it through with Plagg..H-He got kinda mad but he agreed-" Chat Noire fiddled with her ring. "And he says you know who the guardian is, and that you can pick another Chat.."

Ladybug took her hand, "No- N-No I'm not letting you-" Ladybug squeezed. "I don't want another Chat- I want you- You're the only Chat I'll work with--"

"I can't Ladybug-- I'm hated by the city, he's been in my head, and I know I've already put my girlfriend at risk.." Chat Noire sighed. "Before I hand over my miraculous..I'm going to go break up with Amity.."

"Wh.." Ladybug swallowed. "Chat Noire she loves you--"

"I know.."

"You'll break her-"

"She'll live.."

"Chat Noire you can't break up with Amity- You love her too much to do that, right?- W-What if she gets akumatized? You'll be hurting her--"

Chat shook her head, "You'll protect her for me.." She smiled sadly. "It's been a pleasure working with-" Chat paused. "For you. Thank you for letting me be on your team. Please wait here while I go to Amity."

Ladybug shakily released Chat's hand, "J..Just text me when you've done it..I.. I need a minute.." She latched her yoyo to the roof, taking off.

Chat Noire sighed quietly, looking down, "Right.."

Amity paced around her room, biting her nails, Tikki watching her pace back and forth. "Princess."

The Blight looked to her right, begin- ning to tremble, "Hey Minou--"

"Hey uhm- We..We need to talk.."

Amity walked over, hugging the cat, "I love you Chat..You can tell me what's on your mind.."

Chat Noire tensed, hugging Amity back tightly, "Yeah..Yeah I know.."

Amity gripped her suit, kissing her cheek, taking her hand. "Come on, let's sit."

Chat's heart sank, ah geez..Amity was so sweet, generous, it'd be hard to break up with her. "Do you want me to get some tea? Hot cocoa?" Amity suggested, sitting Chat Noire down.

"Uh..Hot cocoa..Please.."

Amity kissed her head, ruffling her hair, going to her room door. Amity left, Tikki following her out. "Are you trying to guilt her?" Tikki asked softly.

"I..I-Is it wrong?-- I love Chat Noire-- I don't want to loose her-"

Tikki grabbed Amity's nose, shushing the girl, "You can, but please." Tikki took a small breath. "Be careful, and don't over do it.."

Amity nodded slowly, going down the stairs, and to the kitchen. Amity got started on the hot cocoa and tea for herself, gathering snacks on a plate. In a few minutes, the drinks were ready, Amity taking them and the snacks upstairs.

Chat Noire was looking at her hands, talking to herself, nervous. "I can't do this to her..I love Amity..And she loves me..I don't..I won't be the cause of her pain..Maybe I should continue being Chat Noire.."

Amity lightly knocked on the door, walking in, "Heya Chat! I got snacks, didn't know what you wanted, so I just got some random pastries." Amity went over, placing down the drinks and plate. "Help yourself to the treats."

Chat smiled up at her, picking up her hot cocoa, drinking a bit before hissing. "Hot hot hot!"

Amity laughed, kissing the heroine's head, "Silly kitty, you asked for hot cocoa." Amity wiped her cheek. "I love you Chat. Eat a cookie to distract your tounge."
